I disable Google Now too and hibernate Google Search. But Google Play Services cannot totally get rib off since its part of os. What I do is disable it's permission on Keep Awake, Location & Post Notification to minimize the wakelock.

Sent it back about 3 weeks ago. But its been unusable for about 2-3 months already. The problem keep coming off and on till finally its really spoiled. haha.

Just call google and tell them your problem etc then if they decide to repair/replace they will give you a shipping label. FedEx will come to your doorstep (australia) to pick up the your phone and they will send it back to you again when its done. If they replace a new one they may send you the new one before you even return the old one. Of course they have your credit card details if you decide not to send back the old one. lol.

Hey guys. I think I've just bricked my phone. I'm on Carbon ROM + ElementalX. When I try to use ART, the phone reboot as usual and enter the Optimising App phase. When it was done. It just shows me "Unfortunately, themes provider has stopped". I tried to flash the rom again but I couldn't mount my SD card. Pretty much fxxked up now. Any help here? I googled it around it says the SD card is dying.

Even my CWM recovery is gone. What've I done!

Could you try booting into a recovery temporarily using fastboot/adb?

wait. I'm still having my CWM recovery. still couldn't mount the Sdcard. yes. i can boot into recovery.

If you can on your phone and go recovery, your phone not bricked. Just factory reset it with stock image with adb.

Okay sure! I'll give a shot when I'm home. Luckily I still have a spare phone with me.

Luckily black N5 is soft touch materials, use sunglasses cloth to wipe if off with some force. Should have pay more for dbrand straight away.

Why need case when had skin ? But curse this generic eBay skin . . . .

You get what you pay for. Better buy Slickwrap or dBrand. In case the skin screwed up, you can always ask for refund.

Waiting for dbrand custom skin now, and their new website

after tried few kernels, trinity, bricked, franco and faux123. still prefer go back again to ElementalX

i dont use other kernel,just franco(free version) and elementalX. i like elemntalX coz the feature to tweak kernel using aroma installer. guess im kinda stingy..haha..
