I don't think it's common.. definitely doesn't happen to me. From what I've read, it could be another app that uses the camera (instagram? snapchat? etc) that you used earlier but it didn't close properly hence the system still thinks it's being used by the app.

This also causes battery drain AFAIK so it's better to rule out all apps you used that utilised the camera first

This usually happens because some app is holding/using your camera. Might be because the app did not close properly. Reboot works because it basically closes all the running apps and services. But better to go to Settings > Apps > running and see what's running that might use the camera.

Even some flashlight/torch app will cause camera stop too. Can check with that.

I doubt KVT49L will come to other Nexus. It just patches LTE version of Nexus 7 to support Verizon

Previously, it happened to me too when I was using the Face to Unlock feature. But after that I switched back to Swipe to Unlock... starting the camera app so far so good... until the phone masuk hospital... vmad.gif

Anyone having problem while moving old files/videos/pictures from PC to phone it will stop copying halfway and just wouldnt move further?
Tried using another pc/ restarting the phone but problem persist sad.gif

Nvm, fixed it by putting in a folder name .nomedia

the camera still working now. I've uninstalled the torch light app and also disable google chrome.

using Cel**m line, but feel that tis phone reception is a bit teruk than normal [eg. Moto G].

Ah, after copying all my medias to the phone with .nomedia folder, they are not showing up in my phone gallery....
Need to copy those files little bit by little bit without the .nomedia folder, god, whats the right way to do it?

Why do you put your media(that you want to use/show) in a nomedia folder? .nomedia is usually a file/folder named .nomedia and it mostly tell the media scanner to not scan the files in the folder so it won't show up in player (music) or gallery (pictures/videos)

Just create folder with any name you want and transfer from pc/wifi to that folder.

yes, u can.. but i prefer u go unlock bootloader 1st, den Flash supersu.zip on your phone...biggrin.gif
