Hi. Can i configured the L3 switch with these requirement:
- As Unifi gateway router
- vlan and intervlan routing
- spanning tree protocol
- switch port shutdown/security
- firewall/access-list to control intervlan activity and mitigate external network attack.
- DHCP server and separate DHCP pool for each VLAN
- send SNMP update for real time health status monitoring

Both rackmount and desktop version are available? Best price?

Beside the L3 switch, what is the other device you would recommend to cater the listed requirement? Budget below RM1k.

Yes the listed requirements can be done but the implementation for "- firewall/access-list to control intervlan activity and mitigate external network attack." and "- switch port shutdown/security" maybe different with your idea, you can read about them at http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:CRS_f...ss_Control_List.

I am regret to tell that we do not have stock for this model currently, we expect new stock to arrive around end of October...

You can consider RB2011UiAS series too, their prices are under RM600.
