Monash Residence... no. Nobody is allowed into your room, so my friend who stayed there told me.

I stayed at monash residence when i was studying alevels. I had a bad experience with the housekeeper. He forced me to move out of my room because the other occupants of the unit have moved out after finishing their alevels. Later, I found out that my unit was being rented out to other people (Koreans)without my permission prior to the end of my lease. I have signed a lease agreement and hence felt that i was mistreated and cheated out of my tenant rights. Not to mention kementerian pelajaran malaysia was paying for my rent.

When i went to see him, he kept giving a lot of excuses saying those people are new to the country and are paying a lot to study there blah blah blah..... At the end, kpm stepped in and forced him to give me back my room lol...

Both are ok. But Monash residence is more expensive as it is a person to a room. Sun U has other options. And Sun U also generally segregates the males from the females.

No outsiders are allowed.

It depends on your course (because some courses like engineering may need specialised software like CAD those kind for windows only, but you can install windows on a mac so yeah..), but generally it is quite commonly used in the uni.

For IT, a mac has the strength of running all major OSes (OSX (Unix), Windows and Linux) for all kinds of coding and full Unix terminal.
