Any recent 2nd semester students from MUFY care to tell me how Physics Unit 2 was like? Is it easier than Physics 1 and any recommendations on a good teacher? Pn. Mardiana from Sem 1 was absolutely horrible.

Might be taking Engineering at Monash. So any advice from you guys that have done ECS or Mechatronics Engineering over there? Are the assignments and challenges hard? Or should I just go for Computer Science instead? Am currently doing Maths and Physics as well as ICT at MUFY in Sunway College, doing fairly well for both.

QUOTE(zstan @ Mar 23 2015, 12:59 PM) engineering and CS are completely different things bro Yeah, I know. CS is like my secondary option in case Engineering is too hard for me and I decide to drop out. Hahaha

QUOTE(zstan @ Mar 23 2015, 02:00 PM) CS is one of the toughest course in the world.. and it will be even tougher if you do not have any interest in the first place I have interest in computer related field as well as problem solving. But Engineering will most likely be the main goal as the job scope will be wider after graduation.

QUOTE(secondrate @ Mar 25 2015, 11:55 PM) Not necessarily, IT is very wide as well. I dare say wider than engineering... anyway I'm grad from Monash Australia but did 2 years in Monash Malaysia and working as software developer now so anyone feel free to ask me questions I can provide the lecture notes and stuff if anyone wants to take a look. Note they did change the course structure a bit since the first year I was there (2012). If interested in programming, can try codeacademy to get a feel. Maybe try Javascript. In what way did they change the course structure? Yes, I would like the notes very much. Thank you
