Hi, im a complete newbie when it comes to modding. I havent really started, but intend to do so soon.

1. What is the best paint to use to paint the front of the casing?(plastic material) I intend to paint it black.
Is it possible to get a glossy result?..if so, how?

2. I've got this crazy idea to paint my keyboard. i would first paint the keys with luminous paint, then mask the letters and spray the whole keyboard black...
Is this method recommended, or are there any other ways to paint the whole keyboard which leaves the keys recognizable?
and will the paint come off after some time?

i just hand sanding it, then spray with paint.

u wanna hav a glossy effect, just add a several layer of clear coating onto it. make sure first paint that u spray b4 really really really dry,if not, the buble will come out..just my 2cent..

This is not possible unless you use a words frame to do it.

not really.. can just pain with your own handwriting.. then it really is a personal keyboard... if you do decide to do this, don't forget to paint a clear coat over it, otherwise the letters will fade in no time..

Well, as I remember. there are some product where u can stick the letter to the key board 1.. something like templete where u stick the white letter to the key by shading the other side of the templete with pencil...

something like " stencil " ...sorry forgot the exact name... I think u can find it at major book store...

after that .. spray a clear coat to protect the wordings from torn off.. walla... new wordings..
