as recommended is to change both, what they claim is front and rear been used in same weather condition(hot/rainy day), by eye observing you may not see the different but the rubber quality could be different (getting harder) after years.

all this theory not apply to me sweat.gif i changed only rear tyre as the reason i change the tyre was because of tyre puncture ..budget xde..

and now i am in a dilemma as i am going to change both front and rear but cant decide when to change it as the rear tyre still very new(just after 3-4l milage) rclxm9.gif

Depends what kind of person you ask.

For me - Put new in front, old put at back, botak throw.
Which is why I use same tyre size on both front and rear. 80/80

Hi guys, sorry to deviate to a non-technical question.

I scouted an offer from auction, a year 2017 registered 135LC going for RM3100.

Is this a worthy buy?. or best to steer away from auction site?

does tyre size will cost any effect on motorcycle? Because the default size is front (70/90) and rear (80/80)

From my experience, bigger tyre will make the bike feels heavier, thus slow down the acceleration and speed, fuel consumption could be higher as you keep on playing high rpm to achieve the same speed as before with smaller tyre, but it almost unnoticeable. Choose tyre according to your rim's size and width for better response and power. You may go one size bigger, but advice not to exceed more than that one size or the tyre will become "donut" shape and a waste of rubber and money. Example for 1.6" front LC rim with 80/80 or 80/90 than 70/90. Nevertheless if ur LC has been upgraded, wider tyre will give you more stability especially in high speed corner. But like i mention earlier one size wider is just enough already thumbsup.gif

alrite..tats a good advice!!! will take note of that

guess i will have to go back another time to inspect before the auction this weekend...

in terms of price, RM3.1k for a year 2016 135LC, is this justifiable?...goodle at mudah.my always show a higher price, so i tend to trust mudah.my less nowadays. tongue.gif

prefer input from user. smile.gif

Noob question here. How u guys lc135 & y15 users bring your raincoat when riding your bike? I know that those who installed givibox have no problem to bring raincoat & other stuff, but how about for those who dont have one, or will never install one?

Put in the bakul perhaps? but then your bakul will be full by the raincoat itself, cannot put other things like groceries..

I'm interested to get lc135 but a bit worried about this tiny issue especially during this rainy season.. I'm so used to having underseat compartment like honda wave kapcai, which easily u can put your raincoat though.. sweat.gif

I think the black one piece type, fold into a square, just squeeze under the seat. Or, put in the front basket between legs.
