Sometimes late salary, give cheque on 7th that means we only get the money on 10th. one time he give the cheque after 7th, said no money la, blah, blah, blah, but buy new iphone for himself. Promise the employees incentive but LATE payment for 2-3 months.

There is one time he pay us late, reason (excuse) is because i calculate the salary wrongly. So why is it the same amount when i receive the cheque?

No OT on normal days, have to stay late once a month for packing stuff. Saturday half day but no need to come office if no event. OT on Sunday, Saturday half day OT only as Saturday is a "working day". so that's how he save on the OT money.

No EPF on 1st 3 months probation. (Don't get cheated, you're entitled to it. I got mine by suing him after resignation). This company has a really bad reputation of EPF contribution. A lot of ex employees sued him. He did not give me EPF for the last 3 months of working. Before decided to sue him, i give him face because i still have good terms with him after resignation. Asked him, he said he will pay, next time he said he paid. He thinks everyone is stupid, dunno how to check, thank goodness i have e akaun so i know he's lying. Checked with EPF officer, no name on the EPF list for Oct-Dec contribution. Okay, sue!!!

Boss is super stingy. Outstation event on Saturday & Sunday, but boss only book hotel for saturday & sunday night. We have to drive at 4am from KL. Sometimes book only 1 night, straight go home after event.

Like to do things by emotion. Suka suka can treat the employees (rare case), suka suka say no money, all expenses by yourself. Angpau given $100 by 2nd boss, not boss himself. (so lucky that he has a good bro/friend) i heard from his bro that it was supposed to be given by the boss himself, amount should be $300.

Become his bro even worse, sometimes he will give their salary late... how late, i dunno. As i was in charge of the payslips, he gave all the salary cheques so i know. The cheques are sometimes $500 less. He immediately told me that he gave the money to his bros on advance, which i do not believe. They are not big spenders like him.

Ask the staffs to wash toilet, said everyone use the toilet so should wash. I don't mind if everyone washes it but no... Most people doesn't wash it. Worst part, he like to specify girls should wash the toilet... WHAT???!!! because of this statement, i never wash the toilet.

Not trust his employees, like to think we like to create politics and stuff. Asked him about EPF contribution he became furious. Then at my last month of working we supposed to go universal studio (own expense) as a team building thingy (sort of). But i refuse to go because i don't have money. Salary not paid yet, yes, it was late. Some also follow suit because of same reason. He accused me saying that i ruin the harmony of the team. Purposely asked others not to go Universal Studio. Well, it's not my problem that no one wants to go. We need to pay the ticket by OURSELVES, remember? I said no, but lazy to clarify to him further as i'm already looking for new jobs.

Always pay his suppliers late. I have to create stories why we pay later. So fed up of receiving those calls. Buy a luxury car, Jaguar with company name but always pay late.

Didn't like when you leave on time because he reach office on 3pm. Things gotten worse after his girlfriend & new partner worked here. The partner dislikes us, always show his bossy attitude. Only 21 years old already so bossy, rich kid... haih... Girlfriend comes to office after lunch, so i need to handle her work when she's not in office. Lazy, didn't give us payslips unless we request. Why you need payslip ah? so we have to make up story, apply credit card or so to get the payslips. Sometimes have to deal with her emotional stuff...

actually i quite enjoy the company at the 1st few months, before the partner & gf came in. but the biggest problem about the boss is not trusting the employees & i'm annoyed with his sexism comments too. At first i got his trust, but as time goes by, (i think also influenced by partner & gf, now wife) he dislikes me more and more. I have no idea what people like to talk behind my back on their smoking sessions. (i don't smoke) Although he lied to me about the EPF, I don't have personal hate towards him. But i did what i should do, which is get back what i should, so i decided to sue him. Then he unfriended me on facebook. oh well...

when there are employees questioned about not getting EPF, i was the one who told them it's fine, they will be paid later. When ex employees flame rumours, i was the one who persuaded them that those are just rumours only. So it was really hurt when he said i ruin the harmony of the team... Seriously?

i don't think he values the employees as much as he should. He doesn't trust people. Maybe because of his past experience of bad employees, which flame many rumours about the company. Very sad, because the newer ones are good nature and if he put some effort, he can train them into great people. Now, all the employees left, except 1. I don't know how he will handle the job as the others are bosses in the company. oh well...

anyway, i'm so over it now.

If you open a company just because you have money then you will crash and burn. We need to have experience in operating a business 1st. To gain that experience, we need to work for others 1st, unless your father is a businessman, different story. In order get a job, that degree cert does matter. Back to square one.

Oooo... it's not in the list yet.... Sorry, I didn't check the list... 6 working days? i used to work for them (KL office) as my 1st job, mine is only 5 days. But salary wise & other stuff, yes, it's chinaman style. Back then i just finished my diploma, haven't got the physical cert yet, only have transcipt. The manager treat it as SPM holder, give me only RM1100. less RM200 than others. (year 2008)

i also want to add another, @don1s, i got the details through someone working there. 6 days work, low salary. During CNY they close doors for around 1 week but give unpaid leaves.

another 1 is a japan facial company, got japanese staff there... 1st 3 months NO pay slip, NO EPF, Socso.

believe it or not, sometimes i had to pick up shit... physical shit

we are allowed to bring pets to the company as long as they behave. (pet related co so it's allowed). anyway, there's a colleague of mine has a dog that does not behave well. Pee & poop as it likes. If dunno how to behave don't bring here lah... but she said if leave at apartment it will bark until neighbours complain... She works as a salesperson so most of the time not at office. So guess who have to pick up the shits? Sometimes the owner will say sorry & paiseh, but still... haih...

Worst thing is boss also likes to call me to pick up shits cause i'm a dog person... (so therefore not afraid to pick up shit? what logic is this? ) I never bring this topic up, just patiently clean the mess.

not respecting other religion
most of the staffs are non muslims, but sometimes got 1-2 are muslims. Normally we will find halal food, but sometimes they (boss & partner) secretly complain of not able to eat non halal food. One day, we went to a mall for lunch, where there are manay halal choices but the partner said want to eat wong kok we said cannot, non halal, then he answered, what? got halal mah... got chicken, got fish... at last we settle for nandos but we can clearly see his attitude.

went outstation for events, sometimes just settle for chinese food because cannot find mamak. When eat mamak, my boss purposely said: see, we eat mamak because of YOU. my muslim colleague was angry when the boss said that.

what to do? not everyone wants to work in ah pek company. salary just 2k. i'm not sure the phrase "we eat mamak because of you" is just a joke or not, as i'm not there... just heard it from colleagues. But still, sensitive issues are not meant for jokes

the boss invited us to his brother's wedding lunch... we never met the bride & groom before, but we went there to give face to the boss. Boss said no need to give angpow. No problem. Problem comes from the partner & his friend, told us to go there early to help out. Err... the boss himself didn't ask us to help... Why so kepoh? Boss only invite us for lunch, no mention of helping out. The friend probably just wants to impress the boss. We ingore them and just went for lunch, the partner is unhappy.

another problem is, the muslim colleague didn't turn up. We (staffs) understand as the wedding is in a chinese restaurant. Non halal mah... but the boss said was unhappy that he didn't turn up. But the staff also not responsible lah... not coming must tell early mah...

No, it's not that you're weak. My goodness, they treat you like kuli... and there's nothing to learn for doing all these manual work. Please leave the co asap. There are better jobs out there.
