Hello there..

I was with a chinaman company before. Yes Mr TS, whats in the first post is like 90% true.

One of my then director once told, if i really willing to learn, he will let me.
Until i got drowning water level nosehigh, then only he will pass a stick.
I took the challenge.

And somehow ithelps a lot i dont hv my boss w me all the time, i kinda handle multimillion projects all by myself whereby my boss visiting like twice or thrice per month. I still got to attend my laziness and being not a morning person.

Now on my next venture in my career, another chinaman company as well.
But i will try hard to instill a good discipline this time around.
But still having about the same mindset, 'whatever gets the job done' i will do whatever it takes to complete the project as long as no violation against ethics, religion, and law.

And we know very well, its already a fat challenge to abide all the rules in construction industry. May all this hardwork will be fruitful in yrs to come

Ok let make it this way .He makes said 10 million for this year how they going to justify the following years they are earning the same ?
Assets deprecation eg machines , hidden cost eg entertainment fees or travellingto get project ,all those time spent , have you take that into calculation ?
I feel you have a grudge over so call china man company .

Most people here never stand in the employer shoes to think , imagine when the market goes down, there's still overhead expenses to be covwr, employees demand increment yearly when company doing good , what if company making lost do you want to deduct a portion from it too ?

And boss that change car often sometimes it's about cash flow , they  loan and sell to cover the debt you won't know .They own the company , of course they make the rules .If you are capable le enough you may register and startup your own business

True. Let support ur idea w the real life example. Here goes

Situation A

Le boss told me 'why la they get u this car. So small one. Its okay when we receive the progress payment later we gonna buy you a new larger car lah. But must wait for payment first'

The cars bought later wasnt for me lol.even the project also making a huge loss.

Situation B

When my current project is about to finish, just waiting for handover inspection n such, demob back to office waiting to be deployed to new project.
Almost one month, few tenders submitted, site visits, yet no real LA, no assurance of getting new projects soon. I asked my other boss, how long we would last w/o new projects? He said 3 months at best.
Fr my admin, they told me sometimes we struggle to keep the account balance. Too many payment to be made, too little payment received. So there are few times we got our gaji late till my housemate also bising late on rental. Sometimes, one of the directors inject his personal fund just to ensure we got our gaji.

I was once remember listening on bfm a song sang by dato idris jala iirc.
'We will pay u, but when being asked when, we surely asnwer when we get paid.'
He keeps repeating the line 'when we get paid'. Implyinb thats like the sop of most business in malaysia. Ask for payment no need malu just tell them straight we havnt got paid yet. Blaming culture much. Lel.
