Hi all

I currently own a Citi Clear Card. But then only found out that Airasia Citi more suitable for me.

If I cancel the Clear Card, can I entitle to the first year annual fee waiver for the Airasia Citi card ?

Btw, how good is Airasia Citi privilege ?

Thanks

I realised something from here.
http://shop.tunetalk.com/

11000 BIG points = 1 Nokia Lumia 525 ~RM400
11000 BIG points = 27500 Airasia points
We just have to spend RM 1395 with Citi-Airasia platinum visa per month to get 11000 BIG points in a year

400/(1395*12) = 2.39% cash back

29400 BIG points = 1 Note 3 ~RM1800
29400 BIG points = 73500 Airasia points
We just have to spend RM 1781 with Citi-Airasia platinum visa per month to get 29400 BIG points in 2 years

1800/(1781*24) = 4.2% cash back

Not sure if I overlooked anything.

Alternatively, we can spend 340 on something that not entitled to any cash back (car service, insurance premium etc) and spend the remaining 160 on

petrol (7)
RM 10 everyday

dining (7)
reload starbucks rm10 everyday

99speedmart (2 )
rm 10 x 2

total % = 98
total spending = 500
spending entitled to cash back = 160
cash back = 150

Hi

When you applied online, you get to choose your card ?
Or you only tick your desired card in the application form?

My point was "Can you choose the back row seating ?"
*
For tgv, you can
If not mistaken is
screen > standard > preferred > premium > couple

Friday buy 1 free 1 available for standard and preferred seats.

Not sure about GSC

Citibank damn stingy.
I called and asked why no trolley bag for me yet.
They dig out the old T&C and said Clear Visa does not entitle to trolley bag during that period (early this year), only Clear Master.
Is true anyway, I noticed that when I applied too, just never thought they will be so observant.

Going to purchase a travel package total of RM14,000, just wonder what are the benefits to swipe with my AirAsia Plat card.
https://www.citibank.com.my/english/credit-...inum_ground.htm
According to the points that follow in tiers, I suppose can earn:
500 + 11000 + 24000 = 40000. There is no capping if I swipe more for the same month right?
If convert to big points, that equals to 8 trips from KL to Singapore?

Does the points can convert to cash voucher instead? How much the cash value that equals with?
https://www.citibank.com.my/MYGCB/ICARD/rewhom/entryPre.do
Am I entitled to redeem AirAsia RM100+RM50 e-Gift Voucher? Seems not much as that converted to 1% cash rebate, right?

Comparing with my other credit cards: UOB One Plat, OCBC Titanium, and Alliance You:nique card, will any of these cards is better alternative comparing with Citi's AA card?

Many thanks in advance

Unless got airasia promo (i think you have to pay airport tax etc), 40000 points= 16000 Big points ~ RM 160 if not mistaken
