Not sure when Buy 1 Free 1 Promo will end for the Clear Card but it is good for those who go to the movies on Fridays. But Bro, if you read previous thread, it was posted by some members that they face obstacles getting their annual fee waived for their Citi Clear Card and Citi Platinum Cash Back credit cards. But then again, if one really benefit from the Free Movie tickets (for Citi Clear Card) and do get cash back more than the annual fee (for Citi Cash Back), it makes sense to pay the annual fee(s).

Yes, most Citi credit cards first year annual fee are waived except for their Prestige card.

One year got 52 weeks, say you go 30 times a years, that's at least RM300 savings

If provided by merchant then u have to look into how much credit limit do u have.

Let say if u have a 5k credit limit. The item u purchase must be within 5k also. Nothing more than ur credit limit. Unless u call in & request for limit increase.

Question for Clear Card users, when you go to TGV or GSC on Friday to utilise the promo of buy 1 free 1, do they limit you on what movie you can choose?

I went to City Square Cathay Cineplex last Friday, they only allowed me to buy tickets for movies which were released for at least two weeks

i brought my ticket in advance before, at tgv pyramid.

I applied because I thought the Annual fee is waived by swiping 3 times in 60 days after cc approved. Then ok to me. But seems like GST and Annual Fee is of different thing which is I am not aware of.

So the GST I have to paid even I swipe for 3 times within 60 days right?

instant reward rate starting from 9th May:

previously: RM1 = 200 points

new: RM1 = 250 points

Condition to waive annual fee:
Swipe 3 times within 60 days from the date approve regardless of transaction in merchant or online.

Condition to waive GST through Rebates after 3 moths:
Swipe 3 times within 60 days from the date approved
The card must be the first card you own from Citibank
You only have ONE credit card registered under Citibank.

i applied this today at setia citi mall, need swipe RM4000 in 60days to get the trolley bag (1 big & 1 small) after card approved

the agent informed me that we will not get the trolley after reached RM1000, need to wait after 60days from card approved, then take another 2 weeks for process
