So I went to Mid Valley to apply for the Clear Card last Saturday, but it couldn't be completed on the spot as they wanted my copy of employment letter and payslip copy verified even though I also brought the originals, they said because my originals do not have the company letterhead. (I work under special circumstances, so my workplace will not place letterheads easily).

I explained that I would be going for a trip in October 4 and would like to have it processed asap, the agent said okay as long as I send the additional documents by Monday, which I did. She also mentioned if I did, it would be completed within the week.

Today, I called to check application status, but there are no documents being processed under my name. I haven't called the agent to check yet, but does this probably mean the agent hasn't even begun on my application? Or it has already been rejected?
*
If rejected, usually the IVR will state that.

No application under your name, simply because your application has yet to be processed (entered into the system).

very unlikely for you to meet the 4 Oct deadline.

I think should be the opposite..they can earn interest from your outstanding balance $$$

Agree.

Without late payment and interest charged, the banks make a lot less profits.

last week i call them about upgrading my card, but CS say there will be no rebate on the RM50 service tax on the new card..

Is better to just cancel and re-apply.
*
Why not just apply new in April after GST has been in place?

There should be no more RM50 GST on credit card.

Call center and request for waiver.
If they think you are good customer they will waive the AF and remove the 10k miles.
Initially I thought i got AF waived and 10k points, however my following statements shows a -ve 10k points so right now i am sitting on -ve points due to me using the points to waive my GST as well.

I received a sms from citibank. Someone use my credit card at Internet (merchant: IMVU). Had called up Citibank to block my card and ask for a new card replacement. While waiting the card, tomorrow is due date of my bill. Do I still able to pay the bill with same credit card no?
*
You may not. But safer to call up CS to get a confirmation in recording. so that you are protected.

But Watami needs to have RM3000 spending to have the cash rebate.  sweat.gif

But OCBC 1% is just CB on any amount in a month.

Correct me if i'm wrong.
*
It depends on individual's spending habits.

If you can't spend 3K in the span of 3 months, Watami is a NO, no to you.
