May I know is there any ay to amend my details without going to Citibank HQ at Jalan Ampang? I already call Citi phone banking and raised my problem 3 times, they said they will change my details but, until now, the details still wrong. When I apply for the Credit card, I give perfectly clear copy of my MyKad.

My name was spelled wrongly... I want to change it since it is important to me... I already contact then via CitiOnline and their representative said that I need to write a letter to them....

already done that. still no respond.. very disappointed on how their manage complaint and customer request. They said the easiest way is to walk in to their HQ... it is the easiest for them but not convenience for me. Why I need to trouble myself to go to their HQ since its is their fault. mad.gif

At first, after my application was approved, I waited for my card but not delivered to me. Phone citiphone banking, asked them about that, they block the old card and issue the new card.
2 days later I received both my old card and new card (WTH pos Malaysia). But name was spelled wrong. I call them to amend, they ask for this and that. but until now still same. My last 2 call, the officer ask me to go to their HQ. But I can't since I am working and stay far from KL. until now, my account still using wrong name (spell) and my CC still not activated since I'm not interested to use it if my important details such as my name is wrong. How they treat their complaint and request? Is they treat it lightly? this is Identity (Name). Not Marital status or whatsoever.

Plan to escalate it to bank Negara since it is involved identity. And plan to call Citiphone banking ask them if they don't want to change it and still hesitate to ask me to go to their HQ, then, fine. Will cancel it. The reason why I still didn't cancel my card is I still want to use their service but, if they refuse to entertain my request, then bye2. Kita pulak yang macam terhegeh2... mad.gif

definitely will let you know so as a guide to Citibank customer....
the last complaint I made is to Maybank, until the branch manager need to provide show cause letter to complaint dept HQ why the delay of my application and problem. Lol... x berniat nk susahkan org... but kalau kau sasahkan aku, Aku susahkan kau balik....

here the update.. after saying that I'm very disappointed with their CS and saying that hope they understand how they feel if someone spell their name wrongly. Plus I am saying that I will escalate this issue to Bank Negara if the problem is not solved since it's involved my Identity. And why I need to trouble myself to go to Citibank HQ since it is their agent fault at first.

Here the timeline

22/09/2014 - report to CS FB.
22/09/2014 - receive their CS call but miscall.
23/09/2014 - receive call again, answer and they ask verification document. email it to them.
24/09/2014 - they reply email said that received and forwarded to the PIC.
24/09/2014 - they call to verify the document and ask me to stop using the CC since they will block it and issue a new card. expect delivery of card within 2-3 working days.
Today (25/09/2014) - Login to Citibank Online. Check my Profile, The Name has been updated/corrected.

see it is simple... just take 4 days to settle.

yeah.. my initial plan was not just use this magic word but will report it if they didn't resolve my problem this time...
Same goes to that maybank compliant.. that's why maybank call me so many times to verify this and that... to drill down the problem and even ask the branch manager for show cause letter.
