Would like to know normally how long is the card approval time frame?

Submitted my online application form last week, called Citi's customer care to check on the status yesterday, the CS rep told me it's not being process yet 

anybody got the offer for guaranteed cash back? Sent by email or SMS, offer is you spend RM2500 a month from Mac- May. 1 month CB RM50 so that is 2% rebate.

Spend RM7500 in 3 months you get RM150. i just enrolled.

if i read the t&c correctly (i could be wrong!), it's capped at RM300/RM500 worth of petrol transaction per month for Classic/Platinum respectively. so, your max 5% petrol cashback is only RM15/RM25.

across the board, total cashback payout (quota) is capped at RM900K.

not attractive if you pump >RM300/RM500 per month, especially those big cars 

Citibank rejected my cc application, i am not in ccris or ctos. Never late paying ocbc( cut d), mbb2card and uob p plat, zero balance brought forward. Fully qualified annual income requirement, pay tax every year. Finished homeloan, servicing company car loan. Apa lagi citibank mau? At least give a reason la!

Thanks for the advice. I aint so keen about the credit card from Sanjeev Nanavati bank la. Just apply to support a young chick credit card promoter, kanasai now kena reject, people think I am under qualify la. Citibank should put there "Clean financial record holder will not be entertained", then I don't even want to try help apply. Nvm la, saja to vent out. No need it pun.

Today I got a call from 60323837100, claiming they are from Citibank and wanted to enrol me in some offer. Something like insurance base on my spending. The insurance if i not mistaken is to pay for the item i buy using citibank in case i die. They got roughly explain to me how it works but i didnt really bother to listen coz i was busy at work. I never buy anything large with my citibank card anyway. In any case im pretty sure if i say yes, they will start to ask me for some "verification" before proceeding. No way I am giving my details over the phone.

have read through this forum found that some user of citibank card unable to get AF waive

here is my experience i call up the person on the line told me wait until AF appear on my statement then just call in to ask whether can waive or not

for the past few years when i request they usually proceed to waive it

i was like huh.. wait the AF charges appear on my monthly statement @@

he said now he cannot do anything have to wait

looks like he want to trick me pay the AF and hope i dont cancel it huh

I did the same.thing....i paid the AF first n they rebate it. Quite risky also as total RM800++ but lucky i manage to request for waiver
