QUOTE(onlinepaycheck @ Sep 6 2014, 12:17 PM) Last year I got AF and GST waived. +1 Called up CS, AF = immediate waiver granted. GST = they gave loyalty cashback'. I had to pay off the RM50 GST and they gimme RM50 loyalty cashback at next statement. But this year, they refused to waive AF and GST on me. So I requested for non-renewal/cancellation. Bye bye to them. |

QUOTE(*devilelle* @ Sep 12 2014, 11:39 PM) Just want to know whether its better to apply for Citibank Cashback Platinum Card or Citibank Business Platinum Card. Basically need to see what u spend on the card. I have both Cash back and Business. I applied online for Citibank Cashback Platinum Card, however the Citibank staff provide me an option to apply for Citibank Business Platinum Card. I thought the Business Platinum Card is mainly for business only but according to him, if I am targeting on cash back, Business Platinum Card would be better thou the cash back is not applicable to petrol, however there is no capping for all categories. I have done a bit of research but I need some opinion. TQ Cash Back i only will use for pertrol, Watson/Guardian, Tesco and Phone Bill. Petrol: RM600 X 5% can get Rm30 Guardian: 2% cash back without Cap Teso: 2% with Rm60 Cap other 0.3% cash back Business: other than above cash back i will use Business card to earn 1% cash back But need to confirm that u money will use above rm300 on Business card you only consider to take it. It you only spend below RM300 then you stick to Cash Back Card only. You can have a try for first year since first year AF should be waive. So u just paid rm100 GST for both card. As long as in 1 year u can earn cash back Rm100 above why not ? Cash Back is diff for both card: Cash Back: above Rm50 automatic cash back, below Rm50 bring forward to next month (didn't see any cash back amount because always below rm50) Business: Accumulate and no expired for the cash back. Cash back only you give call to citibank. (i used 2 years already now have cash back Rm3xxx, at least can see amount of cash back) Hope this can help u to decide... |

QUOTE(*devilelle* @ Sep 13 2014, 12:15 PM) Thanks. For cash back 2% in Labuan only Guardian and Giant. I assume that you spend around rm500 as well. then Petrol RM200 Montly. You said about online transaction in 0.3% cash back, but u use Rm1000 only cash back RM3.Since I am living in Labuan, I dont use much petrol; less than MYR200 a month! We don't have Tesco here, not even Watson. The most is Guardian, Parkson and Giant. What I do mostly on my credit card is purchase online. I am not sure if the cash back for both card also include online purchase. assume you are use more on online RM1000 Rm500 cash back 2% = RM10 RM200 Cash back 5% = Rm10 Rm1000 cash back 0.3% = RM3 Montly cash back RM23. Need 2.2 Month only can get Cash Back to break even your GST. (after deduct GST u earn yearly RM225.4) If u use Both Cash Back and Business Platinum Card Rm500 Cash back 2% = RM10 (cash back) RM200 Cash back 5% = Rm10 (cash back) Rm1000 cash Back 0.3% and 1% = rm7.9 (Platinum) monthly cash back RM27.9 but you need 3.5 month to break even your GST RM100. Earn more RM4.9 but need more time to break even GST (after Deduct GST u earn yearly RM237.15) if u use only Business Platinum total Spend monthly is 1700 cash back = RM14.9 Monthly cash back RM14.9 need 3.4month to break even GST RM50. (after deduct GST u earn Rm128.14) So if follow the RM1700 expenses, You see that use both card is more worth in Long Term see how u spend it. You can try to calculate what your expenses monthly actually. You may add more from your previous expenses about 20%, you may spend more after u have CC. Thanks |

QUOTE(*devilelle* @ Sep 13 2014, 12:38 PM) I have enquired at the 'recommend credit card' thread and one of the recommendation is Citibank Cash Back Credit Card. Therefore, I have sent my application on this credit card. Like I have mentioned earlier, I was wondering if Citibank Business Platinum CC would be a better choice or not since the Citibank staff provide me an option. Is ok Bro to ask about Citibank Credit Card here. But if u choosecredit card only u know better than us how u spend and where u spend it. Or else u want more cash back for online transaction why not try Maybank 2 Card? 5% on weekend using AMEX card, I assume that online transaction should including AMEX. Pump your Petrol on Weekend using AMEX get 5%. Maximum cash back cap rm50. 1 Month can break even if u use RM1000 monthly, yearly get Rm550 cash back. Think about it. Sorry bro but this is citibank thread. u may go to Maybank2card thread find more infoMy apologies |

Yesterday receive SMS notification of GOOGLE*marketplace and GOOGLE*supercell. total of 5 times SMS notification from GOOGLE*supercell RM340. I never use that citibank credit card to any google store or apple store. straight away call to CS to block the card.
