What is the purpose/need to continue suffering yourself to beg like a beggar for the AF (Annual Fee) waiver of this cheap-class Citibank's credit card, when you could easily get as many as other banks' credit card with "No Annual Fee for LIFE"?? doh.gif

Why not choosing from banks which their credit card's AF that were easily waive-able, as through one-time phone call or email request to CS contact?

Definitely won't opt/choose for credit card issuers that surely unable to waive or fake-promise that would only waive after the AF has been charged into the statement first!!

Never interested into Citibank's credit card, as they're very tricky and less benefits.

Example:

* Cash back needs to be accumulated until RM50 or above to be eligible for credited into the statement.

* Rewards category needs to be renewed yearly at RM100/per category from 2nd year onward to be eligible for its 5X rewards points.

* High annual fees and not automatic/easily waive-able. (Who is so stupidly idiot to want to pay annual fees nowadays?)

* GST service tax almost 99% as not waive-able product or service items. (Whereas many other banks out there who can easily waive their GST or annual fees or BOTH!!)

Note: Definitely won't apply/hold for any Citibank's credit card, unless for its 100% free gift/rebate WITHOUT any term and conditions. (Beware of their small-prints of T&C, as most their free gifts need some minimum HIGH amount of spending within fixed allocated period of durations, and added with "First come, First serve" basis.)

For your information, AMEX's credit cards were still not widely accepted in our country here currently. doh.gif

It's not as you mentioned as the "negative feedback" in the forum here, as it is the facts indeed. Why not try to look/absorb it at the good side instead, where this can educate more forumers/new credit card's user here to avoid tricky or less benefits credit cards??

Note: The truth of facts are always hard to be swallowed / accepted. (Just sharing here anyway!!) icon_rolleyes.gif
