hmm.gif actually a bit confused and paranoid now.

t&c says... When i make a retail purchase of at least rm1500...

Single receipt or multiple swipe? I translated to cumulative spend cause i didnt see 'a' retail purchase. But 1.5k single receipt is... Not the norm?  tongue.gif
*
My interpretation is a single swipe. Try checking with CS

Credit card shield will be charged on most of Citibank card unless the owner insist not to take. If this is the case, you don't need to pay any balance as it is covered by the insurance.

Please correct me if I was wrong.
*
by default, it is not charged unless the customer agree or tick it

Hi - Can anyone of you advise what I can do with the Premier Miles points other than travel?

I plan to cancel Visa Premier Miles Citibank Card soon and don't know how to utilise those points. If not mistaken I have about 24K points in there.

Thanks.

Previously i redeemed all points to AA voucher and sell here.

Actually i'm confused with their campaign end date... Cause if you notice... The campaign extended till early this month. So... Are we subject to the original campaign end date or the actual campaign end date?

My experience with them the last time was i did get it within the timeframe. In fact, within the lower range. Efficient.  flex.gif But this round...  hmm.gif

i am following the terms when I submitted my docs...so let's see whether they can meet the deadline

1. sometimes some shops in the mall give discount/free item if you pay with citibank card
2. For some cinemas there is priority lane for citibank card holder

if i am using the cash back card am i eligible for both cases since i have earned rebates from the bank?
*
Yes, unless it is stated that your particular Citibank card is not eligible for the promo/privilage.

Hi, I would like to know wat is the Foreign exchange rate for Hong Kong Dollar to MYR. Is there any website for me to check?

I book a hotel which is Hong Kong Dollar 4400HKG, but the Citibank sent me a SMS which convert to MYR for RM 2342 (Is there any hidden charges?). Anyone here can help me out?
*
If the sms states the amount in MYR, I suspect you have booked the hotel in MYR ie. using the booking portal converter. So in this case, Citibank will not impose any foreign transaction rate anymore.

Thx for the information, will look thru the rate
The booking portal stated for MYR only 2028, suddenly i receive the SMS is 2300+, really too over the price. Is it anyway for me to cancel it?

QUOTE(QPheng @ Jan 21 2015, 11:24 AM)
Advisable to call up the hotel booking company's Customer Service that you made the booking from to express your dissatisfaction on the additional charges which you were not being inform and ask them to cancel the transaction.  wink.gif
*
I agree, contact the booking company for clarification first. If there is evidence that hanky panky is involved (not due to you mis-read or overlook the terms), try to file a dispute to your bank. Anyway, do report here on what actually happen as I am curious too.
