Hi all... i am thinking of jumping ship into WP again but my last experience with L920 isnt something that I would call pleasing. I wonder if two of the most annoying bug has gone out of the picture now with recent update.

1. Last time my 920 really love to crash and refuse to work (i recall it went into bootloop) until I reset it with power + volume down. Does this still happen?
2. How about resetting the phone to factory setting? Does it still stuck in the gear screen for a very long time?

I think that is the two item that really turns me off making me sells my 920 last time. Now thinking about going back, i might grab 920 or 925 if I can find any. Else just wait for 930. But does the above issues has been solved in recent updates?

I know Nokia came with a fix( a desktop software like NSU) to unstuck your phone should you ever get into the looping gear issue. Crash wise I think it could the installed legacy(WP 7) apps that it's not compatible with WP8. So far with the updates be it firmware or OS updates that have been pushed out, the phone has been relatively stable now. I have came across with some of the issues you have mentioned but now it is gone. If you want my suggestion, if you can get a hands on a second hand Lumia 920 for like less than RM 500 then it's kinda worth it. Else just wait for the successor Lumia 930.

Good to know they got sorted out. biggrin.gif

I dont remember installing any legacy apps unless these apps are marked to be compatible with both wp8 and 7 but giving troubles on wp8

No point returning to 920. Maybe look for secondhand 925 (can find below RM800 these days) or wait for 930.

925 being a newer model may get Cyan update sooner than 920, whereas 930 will have it out of the box.

My 925 very stable, never crashes.

Well, thing is I think 920 is a better packaged phone compared to 925. I would grab 925 for it is newer but it seems to be 920 has more stock around compared to 925.

Since both are quite hard to find right now. Probably will just wait till 930 come around. Maybe will just grab 525 for a while to try things out again. I just hope the price wont be over 2k though....
