Hey guys, just updated my phone from Black to Cyan! Had to do two updates, didn't receive any notification about updates hmm...

First of all, loving all the new stuff! So much improvements!

However I think the battery drain is quite noticeable, as pointed out by few users already.

Question, I can't seem to create folders, I read through the past few pages but still confused about this. Is there another update coming?

are you on DP8.1?? because live folder require DP8.1 + update 8.1 GDR1.

Sorry but how do I check that? I'm at the"extras+info" section andit says the software is Lumia Cyan.

If it helps, I was using Black yesterday, then I checked for updates, had to update twice to reach Cyan.

go to your marketplace download, install then enable Preview Developer.
http://www.windowsphone.com/en-us/store/ap...0c-038393741e96

after enable the DP just go and check your phone update.

Thanks! Can't seem to access marketplace at the moment, will try again later.

Weird that they would give me a preview even though I didn't request for it? If it's DP means I have to go through the trouble of reverting back to previous software to update to proper Cyan again. sweat.gif Shouldn't have updated if that's the case.

What I have done below

- Downloaded App
- Installed App
- Entered App, Accepted TnC
- Signed in Microsoft Account

Nothing happens after that. Then I went to check for updates, no updates.

Sorry if I'm being troublesome. sweat.gif

Actually still loving my 920 but at two year mark these are some prob that I have face, and also need some suggestion from you guys if they can be fixed!:

1) Extremely yellow screen with increasing orange/brown spots - In fact that's the first comment every time someone looks at my screen "Why your screen so yellow one?"

Read that many are facing this as well and its due to hardware and screen burn in. Can the screen be replaced? Any idea the cost range?

2) Phone turning off and battery goes from >50% to empty suddenly. Have to plug in charger to reboot. Happened twice so far. I think this is some major hardware (battery) issue and probably not worth fixing.

3) Almost useless front camera, super dusty. Unfortunately I noticed this after my warranty expired. Any idea what's the cost range like to get it cleaned at service centre?

Really would like to hold on to this phone for a few more months hmm.gif Then keep it as a spare.

1. common issue - no need change

2. battery fat already ..you can purchase battery from somewhere like taobao and DIY if u want
3. front facing for lumia 920 = vga quality

Hi there, thanks for the reply but I don't really get you sorry.

1. Yupe I realise that it's common, have read a few examples. Yes it doesn't need to be change cause the screen can still be seen. But I'm just wondering if I personally choose to if anyone would know how much it would

2. Hmmm that sounds like something that I would screw up lol. Fingers cross that it will last a while longer.

3. Vga quality meaning? Mine is just dust though, I read it's a common problem for this model and if under warranty they would help clean and seal it for free. But my warranty expired already.

1. Cost around Rm 200-300 (that was last few months before GST and our currency fell)
2. you can refer to video (previously posted here too)
3. Vga quality basically means low quality, you see how blurry the images are? Like those old phone cameras?
Thanks! I'll try it out and see what I can fix.

(Unfortunately I'm moving back to Android for my new phone, this lumia shall be my backup. Still love love love the Windows system but the main hurdle is still the app ecosystem, I need some app access for work. Oh well, don't my coming back in the future!)
