everyone seems having good time with wp8.1.... no bugs? really really tempted to jump on the bandwagon..

so far no bug ...but it take a lot of battery + time to update it

Hey guys, do you use Glance? Does it flicker? It happens to me occasionally. Looks like a software problem.

When the first time i used glance when it just came last year, i used it for around 2 weeks before my screen getting some blue purplelish line. And then one day it got worst until more than half screen gone. Went to the NCC for the screen replacemen, and since then, never turn on the glance feature again


anyway, today when to work and show off my new WP8.1 to my keliks.... they are quite a new adapter to this WP, using L1520, L1320 and L1020 and always make fun about my 2 years old L920... and they were all WOOAAHHHH how the f*** u do that? Hahahahahaha.... i told them only old WP can... latest lumia cannot... bwahahahaha..

but of coz, will share them how to do it...but maybe in this couple of days la...hehehe

first thing notice is that taking screenshot button is stupid. why would they change that?
so far so good. btw anyone use Project My Screen under option? looks like an interesting feature...

Not change in battery performance, still drain quite fast.

because this wp8.1 support soft button. when manufacturer make a phone without button cannot screen shot

surprisingly, cortana works really well except for calling cause cortana cant understand lots of the contact list names

sometimes, there a problem im encountered whenever im tethering my internet or so called share my internet.

my 920 will takes forever to enable the ON toggle of the internet sharing until i gotta reboot it to get successfully enabled.

so does anyone experienced this on your 920 or know whats the solution of this matter? thanks.

Windows Phone 8.1 Preview for Developer:

1. Battery Saver app drains battery, gives incorrect reading
2. New Word Flow keyboard randomly causes system crash and restart
3. I miss the old Background Task settings...that sort allowed and not allowed seperately
4. I miss TellMe than Cortana. Because Cortana will only work with location service turned on. No more call ____
without location.

Agree, I miss the Background Task ... very simple to see what is allowed for background. Now, have to go check each app to see if backgrounding is allowed or not. Step backward there especially if you have tons of app like me. And I think the default option was for all apps to be allowed to run in the background (another headache).

Agree with the battery drainage....I think I off most of the major battery drainage app, but my battery drop from 100% to 60% from 12am to 7.30am....uggghh

actually background task has been relocate
u can find it at setting > battery saver > usage
they made it easier by showing which app consume more battery and let user has more control on background task

Guys, any idea how to "add" apps notification to action centre?

one thing i've noticed, the app itself has to receive one notification first, then only notification+actions will automatically recognize it and register the app in the notification setting.
there's no way to manually add app to action center.

Thats mean I'll never receive notification for my 6tag

One thing, I disable message notification in my fb beta and fb apps, but my noti+action still shows them

Yes I know that but I cannot at first glance know which app is allowed to run in the background. I would have to select the app, and then check if it is allowed to run in the background. I believe it has been defaulted to allow for all the apps to run in the background and therefore, I have had to click on each app to check the settings. I have close to 200 apps so it's a pain in the butt.

yup. 6tag has problem with live tiles and notification after wp8.1 update.

before this we complain wp has problem with notification being late, not arriving. now it's too much too handle? notification late complain, notification not arriving complain, now notification arrived and on time also complain? kidding

have u disable notification in setting instead of in the app?
setting>notification+action>facebook>show in action center>off
