Here's hoping the wait has been worthwhile... didn't touch the 700 series in the hopes of going from Kepler to Maxwell.

itching for better OC card. that ayam card has a very lemon oc chip
i think going from 780ti to 980/970 doesnt have significant performance improvement also.
juz feel $$ pay for this asus does not justify/satisfy my purchase

I still think the GTX980 is overpriced though (and this is reference card price btw). RM2.1k, while is cheaper than the 780Ti at launch, the 980 doesn't exhibit enough performance advantage over a reference 970 (Zotac, Palit uses reference boards but custom cooler) that goes for RM1.2k.

That's RM900 for 13-17% performance improvement from the 980 to 970, depends how you look at it of course, since money is subjective. I won't talk about overclocking, since both overclocks like a lunatic (the 980 is generally even better than the 970 in overclocking potential). But I personally think the 980 is overpriced.

Finally got my 970 G1 Gaming. Nice card, manage to get 1500MHz without extra voltage. Don't really want to push further though as I'm already CPU limited in some games due to my old i7 930 CPU

Next up, to try some older games like Skyrim with DSR

my Core i5 760 on stock bottlenecks even the AMD R9 280X on Full HD. I had to OC it to some 3.2ghz onwards just to barely close the gap (a frame or 2).

i just learned GTX960 might be delayed because 970 and 980 is doing too well.   

Well,darn it.I was hoping the GTX960 could arrive sooner,and GTX760's price will drop.

At last i jump the gun to the Green. Changing my r280x to get Asus GTX980 Strix. =)

Grow old, less than 1.5k like 1.3k - 1.4k is max for me. Must resist the urge to buy, cuz you know, after getting GTX970, one might got for that 1440p monitor... money flying...
