QUOTE(Kidz1995 @ May 11 2014, 02:12 AM) err is Watch Dog really that demanding? Apparently if you max everything out to the crazy top end settings, yes it's demanding as hell.I'm using GTX 670 with i5 3570K. Only at 1080p. So far, I can use max setting on BF4 but not with AA But if you play high 1080 without AA then won't be an issue. But the fact they recommend 4770K and 780/290 for Ultra settings hints at something. |

QUOTE(Kidz1995 @ May 11 2014, 02:40 AM) Oh. I should wait for 8 series then.. Hahahhaha. We all do mate. max out balls to the walls settings. I can live without AA but sometimes my 'alter ego' of me just want to max everything till my eyes bleed Eh? No need lah. Even a 290 is enough. Or a 780Ti if you're feeling adventurous. That's all you need really. |

QUOTE(Kidz1995 @ May 11 2014, 02:56 AM) Hehehe it's going to feel adventurous coz everyday I will eat maggie if I bought 780Ti.. Can laaaar. What happen to you budget for audio? Since Titan Z delayed, wonder when will 8 series come out Can skim abit here and there. Hahahahah. And get a 290. Not sure. Prolly end of this year. But even the GTX880 won't be much of an improvement. The rumoured 256 Bit memeory bus falls short of the 780Ti, plus Maxwell is probably gonna focus on power consumption. I'd say get a current card and be done with it. Haha. |

QUOTE(cstkl1 @ May 11 2014, 04:01 AM) its a redesign, mobile first...so since mobile is out already.. Yeah it's not definite. We have to wait and see what they come out with. I just hope AMD comes out with another good series of great value balls to the walls cards as they did with the R9 series.they change a lot of plans from hardware unified mem now to software and dx12 implementation and hevc also not definite. bus hard to say... anyway from gtx285 onwards can attest to that. Remember the mem controllers are not inbuilt. So it depends how many u want to have. It puts more stress on the GPU afaik. always mem bit goes up and down on both side of the camp when they find something more efficient. with DDR4 coming in we might be seeing new tech. Generally AMD tends to go for it first before Nvidia. Not sure how they going to label this GDDR6?? QUOTE(Kidz1995 @ May 11 2014, 04:08 AM) Hahaha that's why need to save a lot from now. Graphic maximum already but if sound system lousy also cannnot be adventurous maa Hahahahha. Don't worry. I keep special prices for you. Heheheh. And need to wait house finish renovation first I think Im gonna wait for watch dog first. Let's see how my classic 670 performs Yeah, get the game first, then see how it goes. If really need then upgrade it. |

DID SOMEBODY SAY FAR CRY 4!?!
QUOTE As part of Ubisoft's earnings report today for the year ended March 31, the French publisher officially confirmed Far Cry 4, the next entry in the action series. It's not much of a surprise, as Ubisoft told GameSpot last year at E3 2013 that a follow-up to Far Cry 3 was a sure-thing based on the sales of that game. "The year's performance will be led by five games--Assassin’s Creed Unity, Far Cry 4, Just Dance, The Crew, and Watch Dogs," Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot said in a statement. "Watch Dogs' pre-orders are at record levels and it is perfectly positioned to become the industry’s most successful new IP in history." Far Cry 4 is coming to Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC on November 18. Today's confirmation of Far Cry 4 comes after a flurry of leaks. Here's how Ubisoft sets up the story for Far Cry 4: "In Far Cry 4, players find themselves in Kyrat, a breathtaking, perilous and wild region of the Himalayas struggling under the regime of a despotic self-appointed king. Using a vast array of weapons, vehicles, and animals, players will write their own story across an exotic open-world landscape." "Following the success of Far Cry 3, we wanted to take the franchise to the next level and create a game that will surprise players and exceed fans' expectations," executive producer Dan Hay said in a statement. "Given the unique setting, we feel Far Cry 4 will stand out as a top first-person shooter and we're eager to reveal more about the game in the coming months." If you preorder Far Cry 4, you'll receive a limited edition version of the game that includes Hurk's Redemption, a three-part single-player mission pack featuring the character Hurk from Far Cry 3. You'll also receive Hurk's main weapon, the harpoon gun called The Impaler, if you preorder. More information about Far Cry 4 will be shared during Ubisoft's E3 2014 briefing next month, to be held Monday June 9 at 3 p.m. PDT. |

Screw you guys and your old school high end hardware. I had to live with a lousy stock HD5570 for two years. Barely play anything above low settings.

No wonder Titan Z got pushed back. It got hammered by GTX780Ti SLi, and even the AMD R9 295X2 smoked a trial. Only in nVidia friendly games does the Titan Z scrapes a score, but barely.

QUOTE(Human10 @ May 17 2014, 06:16 PM) Yeah, but can you promise that they won't put their profit first over customers' needs? Well, idealtech does covertly message anyone who asks for a recommendation. Seriously, if you ever go to retail stores and ask for recommendation. 99% of the time they simply suggesting the most overpriced and unbalanced configurations. And in the end you can't even guarantee the system will be more reliable or durable over other cheaper options. |

Say hello to ASUS Strix GeForce GTX 780 6GB. Featuring the new 0dB Fan feature. Meaning that the card will stop its fans completely when idle and during light GPU load.

QUOTE(KajumaO2 @ May 22 2014, 07:45 AM) QUOTE(sai86 @ May 22 2014, 08:38 AM) y still 780? should be 780Ti version instead. Hahahaha I also wondering why still 780. But its ASUS. Their Poseidon already is badged under 780. Wonder what else would they do. with 40% fan speed, my previous 7970 temp is around 40C. if this gc fan stop during idle....i can't imagine my idle temp.... True, on a hot day that card won't be silent much. |
