Use DDU http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/displa...r-download.html to uninstall (pick option with safe mode) , then download fresh driver from Nvidia website then install. Nvidia released a new whql driver few days ago.

Yeah already did that for the new card. Removed all AMD and Nvdia drivers.

Even in Geforce experience it is asking me to set low settings for optimal performance with dayz. FFS I think my gtx 760 asked me to set higher settings.

AB shows GPU utilisation is less than 30% for DayZ and the load doesn't even try to hit higher than 1200mhz. I really don't understand... The temps are lower than 50 all the time because the card isnt even trying to work hard.

For example in CS:GO and Insurgency which are both Source based, everything is running Max and the GPU load and utilisation is all high.

HiHi, im still in dilemma on choosing GPU, either 980 or 970 (both 4GB for time being), different around plus minus 10fps or maybe 20% in performance, but in term of money different around RM800. Any opinion guys?

The 970 for best bang for the buck. I weigh this option as well before making my purchase and also asked for advice here. Couldn't bring myself to blow 100% more of my budget for 20-30% more performance. And mainly I only game in 1080p at 60hz, it made even less sense. I rather blow the additional funds into a kickass monitor to take advantage of my 970.

If I rally wanted to blow money, I rather wait for the 980 Ti if it comes with 8GB rams.

I'll choose 970, just consider which brand is better only.
Yes, same here. Play game in 1080p # working life here, not really focus on gaming. Just sometimes play Assassin, The Sims, Racing Games etc only. If like this maybe I'll go for Asus strix only.

I bought the Palit GTX 970 Jetstream (cheapest with 2 fans). Thank God no coil whine and the fan is really quiet unless it's spinning above 70%. Surfing web or just idling, the fans do not run at all unless I start up my MSI Afterburner which has some minimum fan speed I set up.

To be honest, I'm new to this "no fan running" while idling and I'm always nervous the fan will not start in time when I start gaming. Which is why I always set my MSI Afterburner profile to start the fans when the temps are 40°C instead of the default 60°C I believe.

Overall I love the card but I really despise GeForce Experience app. If only I can separate the Shadowplay component from it, it would be ideal.

However, be aware that the new 900 cards, SLI is really not ideal at the moment. Check out the GeForce forums at all the frustrated posts of SLI users. Also it seems a lot of cards including those from higher end card manufacturers are suffering from coil whine issues. Make sure you go through them to filter which card you think you will have less problems with.

It's still not perfect yet and the drivers really need some more work. So far only 3 drivers has been released since the cards introduction. If you try to install old drivers (pre 344.11), it will not recognize your card.

sigh, not sure early adopters of the card is eligible or not... T_T

According to SG distributor, early adopters don't get anything other than the Phantasy Star code. It was previously under NDA so they couldn't say when it was going to launch.

Want to ask, how is the warranty? Covered by MSI or did Jayacom import themselves?
