QUOTE(topearn @ Apr 4 2014, 10:55 AM) Since ASG funds dividend paid on Apr 1st, better to buy end of Mar to get the full year's div on Apr 1, right ? asg is huge diff with other. Also many people will be selling their ASG after Apr 1 when they have got the yrly div, so better chance to buy ASG now, right ? if you want to buy, buy today. Because I see the increament of 0.01 per day since 1st April. I believe it will back to stable price which is 1.22 in few weeks. |

ASG-Pendidikan : ITD ROI = 1.87%, Annualized ROI = 8.30% ASG-Kesihatan : ITD ROI = 2.34%, Annualized ROI = 10.44% ASG-Persaraan : ITD ROI = 1.21%, Annualized ROI = 5.30% ASG overall : ITD ROI = 1.81%, Annualized ROI = 8.00% Note: All ROI are net after sales charge. Feel not too bad on the overall performance. I invested since 07/13 till now. |

QUOTE(tbheng @ Apr 29 2014, 09:45 AM) I use the following formula for my calculation. I only able to calculate ITD ROI - 3.02%Disclaimer: I am no accountant... ITD ROI = (Current_Value - Tot_Amt_Invested) / (Tot_Amt_Invested) * 100% WHERE Current_Value = Tot_Unit_In_Hand * Unit_Price Annualized ROI or IRR = RATE(Investment_Period/365,0,-Tot_Amt_Invested,Current_Value,0) WHERE Investment_Period = TODAY - Investment_Date I use Excel formula RATE() to calculate Annualized ROI, and it gives compounded % result if Investment_Period > 1 year. If Investment_Period <= 1 year, you can use a simpler formula as follow: Annualized ROI = (ITD ROI) / (Investment_Period) * 365 Annualize ROI is |

I think I am going to stop trying and all. When rethink, just like doing useless thing. When the workers incorporate, esp when the xividen paid day, and saying can't open new account coz no unit. And in the end get pawn by me when updating another account with an amount.

yes, indeed. trying another alternative way is a really good choice. the main factor now is I do not have any extra time to deal with it...
Now getting diversify in FD to increase fluidity... This post has been edited by [Ancient]-XinG-: May 18 2014, 05:44 PM |

QUOTE(cheahcw2003 @ May 19 2014, 10:42 PM) ASNB has hard time to sell their variable funds, their performance are not on par with the industry, even they sell by knocking door to door also no takers. asg perf are quite good actually....I think many ppl complain here for not able to purchase the fixed price fund online (which in fact these fund can be purchased online if those funds are not fully subscribed). |

QUOTE(cheahcw2003 @ May 21 2014, 07:31 PM) ASN3 is a balanced fund. even 2.5 is still quite high. ASG got 3 sub-funds, each fund has different weightage for equity exposure. All funds perform more or less the same. But now ASN3 has sales charge promotion of 2.5% Because others fund which is not under PNB charge 2% SC only. |

guys, I got calling from fren, she said bank is pack of people due the PNB thing, I ask thrice she still can't clearly mentioned the event going on, but the maybank staff is helping them to fill up the form for opening a new passbook, which again I can't really know what name after she mention it. Any people near any agent branch encounter this? I highly suspect is ASN 3 but she said no charge...
forget to mention, this fren of mine don't know any regarding PNB thing... |

Waiting around 1 year to leverage it, I think so. hope this year gives the same return. |

Personally, i dont think having loan of 200k for asb is a healthy condition, simply that, inflation rate is playing around, and the housing price is sky rocketed. I i apply loan, i will go to apprrciating property, bear in mind, not car. Well, pnb is also unit trust, the rish is there. But very unlikely to happen la. Even 08 crisis still stable returned haha. However, for those who already have their own property, than this loan thing is quite feasible.
maybe this is from point of view as a non bumi. |

QUOTE(yeanz @ Jun 26 2014, 06:47 PM) Oh, no wonder. In Malaysia, that's very normal. Lol.. Boleh-land ma.. somehow I have to tell you the chances for you to open an account is right now fully depend on the banker ( given that units ARE available ), however it may varies from place to place. Yeah, you are right. Maybe I should try to open one acc 1st instead of being greedy wanting to open all 3 The post office very far from my place I'm not in KL btw. 2mr is Friday, hopefully not many people. Like my exp, I brought 2 Wawasan, during 1 sept which is the dividend pay day. True enough that the units is up to 10K that time, as I counted and tally with replies here. I try to open, the banker REFUSE and tell me no unit available, I really angry and update both the books I have in hand, I ask them try 400 for each and the units successfully key in. I look at her, and say, If this isn't the units, then why you refuse to open an account? Only after she try open but too late, system down right after the minutes. |
