Look for the 1Mobile Store app in Nokia X's app store and install it. Through that, you can easily install most android apps such as Nova / Apex launcher without sideloading apks. Some of you might have heard of the 1Mobile app store because it is also the default app store in Bluestack's Android emulator software for PC.

That's not necessary. What I meant was that the 1Mobile Market app also served as the default app market for Bluestacks

You’ve seen the world’s first Android-based Nokia smartphone, the Nokia X, and are intrigued by what it can do. This is, after all, a Nokia smartphone running on the open-sourced AOSP – we’ve already seen someone running Nova Launcher on it, and we’re sure there are plenty more tinkering done beyond that from others.

Want to be a part of it? You’re in luck, because Nokia Malaysia is giving away four units of the Nokia X to the Lowyat.NET forum community.

The Nokia X, launched in Malaysia last month for RM399, is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual-core 1GHz processor with 512MB of RAM, and sports a 4-inch 480 x 800 display, There’s 4GB of internal storage, while the Nokia X also supports up to 32GB microSD cards. As for the camera, the dual-SIM device packs a 3MP fixed-focus sensor.
Of course, the most interesting aspect would be its software: the Nokia X runs on a version of Android based on the Android Open Sourced Project (AOSP), while its UI is heavily influenced from Windows Phone and the Asha Platform’s Fastlane UI. The Nokia X Platform – as the operating system is called – has its own app store too, though savvy users can install other third-party Android app stores.
