anyone familiar with file viewer eg - pdf? like one that recommended for nokia x. i dont want to add too much app actually. eat up ram n space memory. takot.. 

i want to recommend an emulator called ClassicBoy for nokia X. Mostly all Playstation One are playable. After installing the app, just dump your rom either in internal storage or external storage.

u need to get root explorer and set permission on the system/app...

dont mess up your phone. if your firmware is 11.1.1 then is good to remained as it is. Make sure supersu is installed on your device, meaning it is rooted. then get root explorer from play google. If you still fail to do so, pls pm me, i will guide you step by step...

You using vroot or kingoroot?

ok good. that means your device is rooted. now, what you need are 2 things.

1) Root explorer
2) gapps

transfer all your gapps apps into your root/system/app and then use root explorer to set permissions for all the apps as rw-r-r. Restart your device and you should get play store.

i'm using that one too, no problem installing gapps.

Nokia x is awesome. I managed to swap my external sd card with my phone storage. Now I can download asphalt 8 without insufficient memory error again....woohoo!!!

Something strange is happening to my phone. When I want to update my app in Nokia store, it tells me to update my phone before I can update the app. My phone is already running v11.1.1. Anyone else facing this issue?

Another thing is I am getting the "Please Wait" screen sometimes when I want to get back to home screen.
It used to do this before I updated to v11.1.1, then it started again from yesterday. Can anyone help?

No. I turned off the phone, even remove the battery then restarted the phone. Still the same.
I just read in gsmarena. Others are facing the same problem too.

the only good solution for nokia is to change the ui for call received, should be swipe left/right than up/down. and should use an icon for call received for better choice

the blank blue box is from storekini, maybe its an ap set, the other one i bought when the phone 1st arrived is zitron set.

Nokia CS: Our product department has checked and conclusion is
'the phone is just like this'

Me: What do you mean 'the phone is like this' ?

Nokia CS: They said cannot do anything

Me: This is not acceptable. This means Nokia makes lousy phones. I have used so many smartphones and none of them have this problem.

Nokia CS: You can use a flip cover then this won't happen.

Me: What?

Nokia CS: Product ppl proposed you do this.

Me: So, is Nokia giving me a flip cover?

Nokia CS: No, you have to buy yourself.

Me: What? Is Nokia making such bad phones that they need to use third party accessories for them to work properly?

Nokia CS: I don't know but this is what the product ppl said.

Me: Pls tell them that this is not acceptable and they have to come up with a better proposal or solution. Pls call me back and update me.

Nokia CS: OK, I will tell them.

The new OTA update is here. Check your setting!

After the update, the phone is smoother. Going back to homepage is almost instantaneous.
New apps are useful.
I like the new colour for the folder tiles.

r there any other way to reach sd card other than installing file manager? if file manager needed, which one is good to use? i recently downloaded many files n decided to sort it out 

i have installed ES File Explorer n its really great! i also tried your suggestion but after i reboot nothing is changed 

im very new at this. my phone is up to date but not 11.1.1 version. do i need to try update till it is latest version? do u think its the cause the swapping didnt work? my phone is a little weird.

once finish how about the swapping? will it work?
