I'm actually surprised how this little phone can handle gaming... Even ePSXe works like a charm, and some heavier games can run with minimal performance hit. Pretty impressive thing I'd say...

Nowadays, the T9 keypads on feature phones are mostly replaced with on screen keyboards on smartphones. Smartphones have tons of new feature such as internet browsing, multimedia. Back in the older days, phones are only used for calls and mainly texting, thats why the keypads is such an integral component of a phone. Keypads provide tactile feedback. Since this is a thread about the Nokia X, I am going to discuss about the default keyboard on Nokia X.
Do you know that the Nokia X's default keyboard is gesture based? That's totally awesome, right? This keyboard is so impressive that it allows you cut, copy, paste, select, switch to number pad, punctuations–all by just swiping!!
The default keyboard set on Nokia X is the Nokia Keyboard which supports gestures. If you want to take a look on what it can do, go to settings > Language and Input > Nokia Keyboard (Settings) > Gestures. Here is the screenshot followed by all the details:
Edit Documents with Edit Keyboard:
This feature enables big buttons which allows you to navigate up, down, left and right in a big document. That’s ok but when you hit the button in the middle with the capital T, it becomes a mass selector. Very useful for selecting bunch of paragraphs and easier than native Android way of doing it.
Number Pad:
If you are working on excel sheet or a web page where you need to use more of numbers, switch to number keyboard by tracing from settings icon to alphabet which as 5 on top.
Select, Cut Copy and Paste:
Nokia X keyboard makes it lot easy to select a word and do the editing operations. Just swipe from settings icon to alphabet a and the text gets selected. Next settings + C, +X or +V does the usual job.
Change case of a word
While most of the time your keyboard will capitalize the first alphabet at the start or for a new sentence, if you want to capitalize all of them, reediting is the only choice. When using swipe, you can do that by tracing from settings key to shift key. When you do that, you get option to de-capitalize, capitalize all the alphabets or just one which it starts with.
Since I do not have a Nokia X, I can't actually test the Nokia X keyboard and share my experience. I hope that those who have Nokia X will share their experiences on the Nokia X keyboard. Is the Nokia X gesture based keyboard better than other third party keyboards? Is the 4-inch display comfortable to type on?
PS, Nokia offer free Swype keyboard app in its Nokia Store just in case you prefer it over the default keyboard.
Yup, I think lumia phones are the first cheap but nice smartphone to start selling in Malaysia. I remembered 3 years ago, samsung galaxy ace 2 and samsung galaxy s3 mini was RM999 and RM1199 respectively. Then I saw nokia lumia 520 priced at RM599 at star newspaper, then after a few month or so, Nokia reduce the price to RM499.
ya coz they put damn low tier w Semi-GOD soc, Snapdragon MSM 8228 dual processor to attract some Nokia-die-hard fans to buy it for support
Actually I dare not open my phone. Even the back cover needs me to refer here and there before opening it. I scare open than break the whole things. U noe how 2 repair?
