Also, does the VOD has the latest TVB drama? How often are those tvb drama and English/chinese movies updated?

I nearly bought mine at Tropicana Mall as well but when i returned, the roadshow has ended. Mind if i ask you a few questions:

1. TVB HK movies : Is it updated regularly and i was told it was VOD. Meaning i get to watch it whenever i want to?

2. Chinese & HK movies : Also, is this updated regularly?

3. Sports : Similar like you, this is one of the main reason i intend to get this. Do let me know if the sports channel is able to stream live PL matches cos when i asked the salesgirl, i was told that they were able to stream live World Cup matches but i would like to know for EPL. Also, do let me know if you manage to get the Star Sports & Fox Channel sports working and what is the language spoken. My guess is that it would be in Chinese. These channels are probably streamed from a server from China/Hong Kong.

Thanks for the feedback, appreciate it much as i don't seem to find much info on their website or other review websites. I see they have a list of live channels but i do not know how to read chinese but those channels aren't my main concern.

Really doubt so that the sports channel will be in English. For it to be broadcasted in English, they would probably need to stream it from the US/UK and it would be quite laggy if that's the case based on previous experience.

I read that you can actually install Sopcast into the media box and would be able to stream live sports channels from other countries. You may want to try that out to see if it works for you.

Well i guess even if its in Chinese its still worth it, being a RM399 investment and you get the VOD and movies around the world. Guess paying additional for Astro just for the English commentary won't be worth it, just my thought

Anyway, do keep me updated on this as i am really keen to get one unit myself. 1OTT official website if selling it for RM429 (my bad for missing out on the RM399 deal). Also, read online that there is quite a lot of 'packages' / apps that can be installed into the player, making it even more affordable.
