* Technical support of products in the version 4.5 product line will be discontinued as of July 1, 2006.
* Technical support of products in the version 5.0 product line will be discontinued as of September 1, 2007
V6 is the newer version, support on v5 will be phased out next year, and since the support is going to end there is no point letting users to download v5. Can it be simpler than that? I doubt

I assume you mean Symantec Antivirus Corporate edition? Yeah it's basically a different antivirus to Norton and it's quite good to me
