some nice stuff u got there, about your underexposing thing.. i get it as well so i usually +0.3ev.have u tried changing metering? i'm current gradually trying to move away from raw, takes up just too much space, might as well shoot 3 pics and hope u get the right exposure tongue.gif
*
thanks smile.gif
+0.3 ev huh? hmmm ill give it a try, im using the matrix metering. Should i change them from time to time base on the situation? nah, i dont mind about the space thing, wanna get everything out of every shot tongue.gif

New updates. Got my Hoya +4 Close up filters already, did some test shots befor the rain starts. Had a great time with it. The only think i lack now is another +10 close up filter then a good zoom lens for better focusing now haha biggrin.gif Some pictures are cropped though, not all of them are the actual size biggrin.gif When i have the +10 and the zoom lens i think it'll sway the problem of cropping tongue.gif

Now no $ already, still saving for lowepro slingshot, then 75-300mm, then flash....i need more increment!! brows.gif (dunno my boss will surf LYN)hehehhe...

i bought Hoya +4 at RM45, how about u? ok kah the price?

why don't use flash to avoid high ISO?
*
walao, where did u get that kind of price!? It's very very very cheap, from Hoya somemore... o__O 1st of all where you living?

haha, can save some money de ma, slowly slowly become gunung lor tongue.gif

about the noise, nah, i dont mind the noise, if it doesnt affect the whole pic greatly, then it's ok... actually i treat it as some kind of an effect tongue.gif

and sometimes flash will tend to destroy the pic if you dont do it nicely, i've tried using flash, doesnt work... maybe there's some way to improve it but i reli do not know how... sad.gif

*

#3 OOF jor...
#5 ler not focus on it's head...

Plz use smaller aperture...
Almosy all ur pics using f/4.5...
For macro shoot, f/8 will be better...
Since u said noise not the problem, then boost ur ISO and using smaller aperture will be OK... whistling.gif
*
thank you happy.gif

like u suggested i did some shoot out today, using an f5-f8 range of aperture couple with flash on commander mode. yeah, ISO at 1600 whistling.gif

will post them later biggrin.gif

hmmm, i got mine for 170 =/ hmmm, but still ur one really not bad, if its 45 then i think its worth the money as long as the pictures are sharp smile.gif

Hello Master,

From this picture,
http://img232.imageshack.us/my.php?image=s...ngorangejc9.jpg

Can you pls share, how can you filter out the orange color while making others into monochrome?
Is it done by the camera filter or it's postprocessing by Photoshop?

Sorry I am new and noob here..
Thanks alot,
Wama1go

hmmm, if i still remember you have to play with the layers.

1st, copy/duplicate the background image. at the "layers" palette, you'll see a background layer and a background copy layer. Click on the "background copy" layer.

2nd, go to image > adjustments > desaturate and make your "background copy" layer black and white.

3rd, go to layer > layer mask > reveal all. Then make sure in the layers palette, you select the white blank sheet which is beside your "background copy".

4th, choose a hard brush, and choose the color black. Then opacity at 100%. Go to the area in the photo that you want to be colored, paint on it, do it nicely and you should be able to finish it. Then flatten the image. You're done. biggrin.gif

New updates:

Fashion photography/portraits of Evon T.

We tried to attempt and mimic photos from the 70s - 90s for the mood and feel, somehow we kinda sway away from the topic biggrin.gif

Anyway, a lamp was used as the lightning, there's no other lightning in the room. The windows are covered in green thick light absorbing material(it's the curtain actually) so i guess that's the only natural light available. All of the photos are shot in JPEG and edited in photoshop for the color effect.
