I'm a fan of HDR, love the first B&W HDR. really nice + the grain effect

if you dont mind, really wish had more time to do this HDR stuff

haha, i cant help the noise, though my iso was low that time but due the editing in photomatix it brought out all the noise inside but in the end i guess the noise actually adds to the whole image thanks by the way

walao eh, her poses are fantastic bro, great photographer and model!

btw, pic number 5 she looks too sleepy liao, can do with some improvement.

and as for the the overall pic quality, certain parts of the pics looks too unnatural, maybe need to tidy up when you post process.

ooops, you did it again in pic 2. see her face like one piece like that, hair lost amidst the background. her right albow that part as well oh, something wrong.

but...

pic 5 is pwnage. shows the full length of her nice body and no flaws in sight. fantastic.

all this shots are taken at the same day That time I still dont know how to use the studio flash XD that's why theres this problem because the only light source is from above and i did not use a reflector

you can work out the lighting to create an ethereal effect, seems that some shots the lighting have that type of feel to me.

lol, i've noticed the clothes she wore are the same and the nail polish is still fresh, so must be taken at the same day lah.

haha it's a ceiling light XD hmmm, those lighting are artificial which is created in Photoshop. And for this full body series all the photoshopping was done by the model herself

nope, the colored version was awfully dull that's why i removed the colors and made it a duotoned photo.

but don't overdo it (contrast,levels, etc.?), it'll look rather fake, or may shows that u're trying too hard, IMO.

anyway, i like the b&w series, it 'catches'...

we should explore all angels in making a photo worth looking at

it is subjective right? i just like it more if it could be brighter so it can reveal all the details in it, and probably minimize the graining effect...

well, thanks for the tip but I have the liking of dark images, and to me grains adds up for a black and white, it somehow gives an old photo look for me

did you shoot in several exposures
or did you shoot in a single raw file and adjust the exposures needed for HDR?

1 RAW then photomatix to do the HDR, then Lucisart's sculpture plugin to enchance them then a bnw toning settings in Virtual Photographer.


The shot for the old smoke house was in multiple exposures though, 3 in exact. That's before I found out that photomatix can do HDR with RAW files too.
