how do u take hdr images handheld? shocking.gif i tot u need quite a few stops(shutter priority) ,so the shutter so go down pretty low..

i do like no.2 though, interesting colors thumbup.gif rclxms.gif
*

Yeah, exposure bracketing of tree shots mostly around 1 or 2 stops. Have to take a few times lor, did several times. Sometimes one shot is enough. And some of them I shot in RAW. Then used photomatix's batch processing to convert the NEF file. Then import to cs2.

yea, the noise is pretty annoying and i think u overdid it in pic 1 but the pano pic is just superb thumbup.gif
*
yeah, I do not know how to control the noise level in Photomatix =/ Pic 1 was my 1st HDR following Stuckincustom's HDR tutorial. So it's kinda mess up a little biggrin.gif yeah thanks to Photoshop CS3 beta's new photomerge system. It looks like it's completely aligned! biggrin.gif

Thanks btw happy.gif

QUOTE(Lurker @ Mar 1 2007, 10:20 AM)
Evon T series, she is a poser alright! smile.gif
but i see the whole set, the eyes are in shadows, is that intentional?
*

Haha biggrin.gif Thanks smile.gif

hmmm i cant help that. 1st of all I do not know how to use the studio flash that time. and a direct flash from the camera will ruin the overal exposure and color. So the only light source is the light on the ceiling. So, you can say its intentional nod.gif

Luke, leaving the eyes in shadows is indeed a good idea. to me the Evon series focuses on mainly her body language (at least, to my taste. she is definitely good in terms of posing) and if the eyes are in sight, would have stole some limelight away her body posture, which is the main attraction. smile.gif

Thanks for your comments and views there gal smile.gif I will try to improve more happy.gif

The lens is quite a beast to handle, just jaga the DOF. Apart from that I think it's a good try, practice makes perfect ... you're almost there brows.gif

Haha im no where near there if I do not own a 5D man tongue.gif aside from that, thanks for the tip happy.gif i wonder if the 50mm f1.8 for the nikon will be the same since the focusing method is slightly different =/

The EOS 5D wouldn't be much of a help ... you'll still hammer your finger if you can't hold the hammer right. I always believe in making do with what you have but in this time and age, there's always that 'belief' that you have to spend to make things better. There's so much you can do with what you now own ...

... until you hit a wall brows.gif
*
that's exactly what i meant la laugh.gif I know I have to practice, and I am happy with the gears I have now, I will practice with them. Till I hit that wall, i might consider the change brows.gif

Btw, new updates - Practice on HDR.

btw, pic number 5 she looks too sleepy liao, can do with some improvement.

and as for the the overall pic quality, certain parts of the pics looks too unnatural, maybe need to tidy up when you post process.

anyhoo, these series rocks. rclxms.gif

haha yeah i've noticed biggrin.gif i still have problems on the lighting settings there sweat.gif and thanks for the tip about the unnatural issue, i'll buckle up in time nod.gif

but...

pic 5 is pwnage. shows the full length of her nice body and no flaws in sight. fantastic. thumbup.gif
*
all this shots are taken at the same day laugh.gif That time I still dont know how to use the studio flash XD that's why theres this problem because the only light source is from above and i did not use a reflector biggrin.gif

you can work out the lighting to create an ethereal effect, seems that some shots the lighting have that type of feel to me. nod.gif

lol, i've noticed the clothes she wore are the same and the nail polish is still fresh, so must be taken at the same day lah. laugh.gif
*
haha it's a ceiling light XD hmmm, those lighting are artificial which is created in Photoshop. And for this full body series all the photoshopping was done by the model herself biggrin.gif

thanks happy.gif

nope, the colored version was awfully dull doh.gif that's why i removed the colors and made it a duotoned photo. smile.gif
