Hi. I've encounter a problem in my iPhone which is the phone keeps searching for network. I searched the internet and many people recommend me to restore it. When i want to restore I cant because i cant turn off my Find My iPhone in iCloud. I decided to make it in recovery mode. The restore started but it stuck at abt 70% and stating there an unknown error has occurred. Error 1669. Now my phone is stuck in the recovery mode... Anything can help me? My phone is still under warranty by Digi and this is the new phone replaced by Digi and i just used ot for only 2 weeks. Thanks.

Put it into DFU mode and try restore again. BTW in recovery mode you also can do that. But if problem persist, put it into DFU mode.

Plus, read this http://forums.imore.com/guides-how-article...ror-1669-a.html

Don't worry about that, iPhone stuck in recovery mode always happens when you update the iOS on your iPhone. There are two ways to solve it.
First is to put your iPhone in DFU mode.
1. Turn off iPhone
2. Hold down the power and home button.
3. When you see the Apple logo, release the power button but continue holding the home button down.
4. Open iTunes and wait for it to tell you that it’s in restore mode.

Second is to fix with a iPhone Data Recovery tool.
1. Fix the Problem of iPhone Stuck in Recovery Mode
2. Recover Data from your iPhone Directly
3. Recover Lost Data from iTunes Backup

I hope this can help you so much!

Try the following steps if your iPhone stuck in recovery mode:
Enter DFU mode:
Plug your device into your computer
Turn off the device by holding the Sleep/Wake or Power button and swiping it off
Hold the power button for 3 seconds
Begin holding the Home button without releasing the Sleep/Power button for 10 seconds
Release the power button and continue holding the home button until you get a popup from iTunes that your device is recognized as being in recovery mode.
About unlocking the iPhone 5, you do not need to connect it to the itunes(iOS 6 or later) , as long as your unlock request has been added to Apple's whitelist, you can unlock the iPhone by inserting a non-EE brand sim card. Click here for more about unlocking an iPhone

Try FonePaw iPhne Data Recovery, I posted it in some other similar threads today and have had three people reply that it worked for them too, and nobody so far saying it hasn't worked.
And yes, everything was still on my iPone; contacts, web bookmarks, all photos, nothing was changed. It just didn't update to iOS 8. After I got it working again I just used wifi and upgraded to iOS 8 over the air with no problems, using it as I type this.
If your iPhone 5 are still stuck in recovery mode, trying this will not endanger anything at all on your device. Worth a try at least, and I'm guessing it'll work for you too. Good luck!

If you're still stuck, trying this will not endanger anything at all on your iPhone. Worth a try at least, and I'm guessing it'll work for you to recover lost data of iPhone Stuck in Recovery Mode. Good luck!

If you own an iPhone and one day it stuck in recovery mode, you can use the Tenorshare ReiBoot to fix it. It is a professional free tool to help you enter or exit recovery mode of iOS devices, including iPhone, iPad or iPod. So if your iphone 6 plus won't connect to itunes when in recovery mode, you can use it to fix your iPhone.

To get out of iPhone recovery mode, you need to reboot your iPhone in any way.
You can use iOS Data Recovery software to do that. If your iPhone stuck in recovery mode, you just need to connect your iPhone to iPhone data recovery software and then click restart button. Your iPhone will reboot and get out of the recovery mode.

Just as you know, there are several reasons may cause this error occurs, such as an old version iTunes, an upgraded iPhone, a hardware issue and so on. To fix iPhone stuck in recovery mode, just try the following steps:

1. Update your iPhone, which is the most basic way to figure out error 1669
2. Update your iTunes, ensure that your iTunes is the latest version
3. Restore iPhone with DFU mode, which can help your phone detect to iTunes without activating the boot loader
4. Recover using iOS system recovery, which can get your iPhone out of recovery mode without losing any data

Hope this can do a favor for you.

well, your situation is so complex, and I think you might need the help from iOS System Recovery, which has it's specified effect in that aspect and may be helpful to you.
