I would like to ask, how to maintain the photo/picture link when all import into illustrator? Now i have a problem is my picture folder had been move to another directory. When i reopen my AI file, it show me this message....

any idea to prevent this happen other time and recovery?

Which version of Illustrator do you have? For CS2, make sure you have this checked when you are saving the file:

For older version, there's also a check box named "embed blabla" when saving, can't remember properly but check thet.

Try not to use the "place" function, copy and paste the pictures directly into your AI, that would save you the troubles.

i think i didn't check that...

i just drag and drop in AI, then once complete, and i removed the photo folder,
all the picture unable to view, uable to find the link... doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif
