Hi guys, wanted to take this promo, but I faced a problem in Groupon....
I want to buy a few deals and pay one shot with Amex to meet the min RM100 transaction, but I can't find anyway to do this in Groupon! hmm.gif
Whenever I click Buy, Groupon will direct me to payment screen and not allowing me to add another item in the same order... seems like Groupon doesn't have shopping cart feature. hmm.gif
Any Groupon sifu can help? icon_question.gif
Want to catch the weekend 5% CB also. notworthy.gif

Thanks for the confirmation.
Pretty surprise to see such a big online shopping site doesn't have this basic online shopping feature! shocking.gif
I google around and discover Groupon US has the shopping cart icon on top, and Groupon MY does not! shakehead.gif
Got to key in payment (credit card) details for each order and can't combine into one order. doh.gif

I got my TP deducted when I did my Agoda refund. So my TP for my visa is currently negative  doh.gif

Second that. My TP got deducted back when I was refunded of my hotel booking via Otel.com.

I experienced that too on Amex for a merchant's swipe and refunded in the following month, MBB took back those 5x TP! blush.gif

When i swipe at Hospital Pantai, i was charged deposit rm5000, then after final bill comes, there is a refund, both deposit and refund, I still earned 5X TP...so far, no deduction yet...finger crossed..

Can you elaborate a bit more here?
Are you saying this:
1. Deposit RM5k : you get 25k TP.
2. Refund RM2k (assuming, since no info given) : you get another 10k TP? rclxub.gif (or was it a -10k TP?)
So in total you get 35k TP?
Can you check again your statement if this is the case?

guys just realized if we use our TP to redeem the service tax is 2% cash back but if you use it to redeem eg. Aeon/Parkson vouchers would be around 1.67% cash back, so best is to keep calling to CS to redeem rm 50 ?  hmm.gif

QUOTE(Human Nature @ May 25 2014, 04:43 PM)
You can only redeem for GST offset once per year.
*
If we can redeem RM50 credit unlimited, I will go for it without thinking...immediately net off our cc balance, also save the trouble to see what to redeem. And gain more, cause you will get TP in using Amex card in Parkson/AEON instead of using the voucher you have redeemed.
Among all my cc, the cc that allow to redeem unlimited credit with points is AEON Watami cc, not sure about other cc.

yes, correct.

but if not mistaken, only atm card (without debit card feature) is allowed to have the rm8 waived with less than 5 times usage per month. for debit card, it is automatically charged with rm8 annually although usage is less than 5 times per month.

QUOTE(alexwsk @ May 27 2014, 10:08 PM)
for debit card, you still can ask for non annual fee option before issuance
*
Then...If ask for no annual fee option for debit card, will that mean it is a limited usage debit card like 5 times for ATM card? Pretty unclear situation there... anyone found any TnC to support this?

The 3 digit at the back is no used for amex
Amex only use the 4 digit at front.
And because of this. It is easy to get the card information by just take a photo on your card.
I used a sticker to cover up my amex 4 digit in front just for safe.
And always pay at counter so that you can watch if the cashier do anything suspicious.

Instead, I scraped off the ccv from all my cc. No one will know the numbers thereafter.
Of course I scanned and recorded them before that.

Hi Bro and sister,
Just wanna to confirm. I understand that the cash back period is based on calendar month from 1st until 30th of the month. I have used up my RM50 cash back portion for May by spending more than 1000 this month. But, I just swipe my card today 31 May with RM200. If today transaction posted on 1 June, will it consider as June cash back portion or May due to transaction date?

He is asking about which month's cash back quota. Anyway, I re-read his question and realize that he already used the month's quota. So in this case, he will not get further cashback. I have edited my earlier answer.

I was in a similar situation last August and i could confirm that my trnx on 31 Aug was posted on 01 Sept and was never counted on my Sept cashback.
*
QUOTE(victorywp @ Jun 2 2014, 11:52 PM)
yeah, if your august's cash back portion was not max yet and you used on 31/8 (posted on 1/9), ended up your september's cash back portion was reduced by the 5% cash back amount you received on the 31/8 transaction. so, not wise to use on overlapping period.  nod.gif

I follow through the discussion and grasp the initial answer from Human Nature.
We need to stay open mind (and ears), assess and re-assess all information; and confirm the situation. icon_rolleyes.gif
