funny I still received my statement by mail today, but I ticked statement by email during application.

Was that your first statement?
In my case, I received a hardcopy statement for the first month only and afterwards all e-statement.

edit: I did opt for e-statement during application.

quite surprised some of u r so confident to say it will be under June transaction.

this has been discussed few pages back. it depends on how fast the merchant post the transaction. and of coz it's always risky to spend on the very last day since of the merchant is late in posting the transaction you'll miss the previous months rebate.

will update tmr.
*
It doesn't matter when the merchant post it, it's still a May's transaction. He won't get cashback for that transaction coz his May's quota is full.

If his May's quota is not full yet, and the posting date is on June, then he will get that cash back on July.

wait, i would like to ask you one last question.  biggrin.gif

transaction date = qualified for the cash back or not
posting date = when will you get the cash back

if the transaction was on 31/5 and posted on 1/6, the cash back is using may's portion or june's portion? this was ckyow1 original question.

from your previous replies to him, are you saying that if he had fully utilised his may's portion and did a transaction on 31/5, so even if the transaction was posted on 1/6, he will not get any cash back? are you sure this transaction will not be using his june's cash back portion instead?  hmm.gif

Btw, this is also mean that is possible to get more than RM50 rebate e.g. RM52.5, because RM2.5 is bring forward from earlier month where rebate is not included. Right?
*
No. It wont bring forward. You wont get that RM2.50

Hi Everyone,

I am a Maybank 2 gold card holder,

I used to check my statement every month, but since last month, I didnt get my rebates for spending during weekend. I have email Maybank support but they did not make any clarification on that.

Does anyone having the same issue as me/?

Please share thanks.

I got my rebates as usual.

You may post a screenshot of your transactions if you dont mind. Perhaps someone may spot what's wrong.

Its looks like monthly if I'm not mistaken but need to confirm this. Please share if anyone has done 0% Ezy puchase.
I am looking for the 10x TP for Thursday/Friday purchase with 0% Ezy at TP Fair in Midvalley. But let say, 10x TP only will be given for the ONE month installment out of the total price, than its not worthy to go Midvalley on working days.
*
Not monthly, the TP for Ezypay are given out at one shot.

i have purchased an electrical item from AEON Big a week ago on a weekend.

RM899, 0% installment using my AMEX for 6 months. Nvr bought anything on 0% installment b4.

Anyone knows how is the cash rebate will be gven? One shot 5% x 899 ???

Until today that transaction still not appear on my online transaction ...
*
If the transaction is on weekend, the cashback and TP will be given out at one shot based on the total amount (899 x 5%, 899 x 5TP). The monthly instalment afterwards (149/mth) will not give you any cashback or TP.

You will get the rebate on 1st or 2nd July.

In case you didn't know, use the AMEX whenever possible and keep the Visa/Master as backup only. Be sure to read up first page to learn how to maximize its benefits.

why it hurt CCRIS record? is not like we didnt pay anything. Even if we pay minimum, the ccris still show 0.
*
Oh.. hmm..

Maybe the finance charges are cumulative?
Month 1 balance - +0.74% of Month 0 balance
Month 2 balance - +0.74% of Month 1 balance
Month 3 balance - +0.74% of Month 2 balance

So end up total amount more than EzyPay Plus... where its always +0.75% of Month 0 balance.

Most important thing is to swipe on weekends and plan to fully utilise every month's cash back quota brows.gif
