MSOS  activated ?

MSOS is for visa and MasterCard only. Amex never have MSOS.

I think my case is most probably due to I did not activate the MSOS.  I didn't know Amex user can now use MSOS security starting from Nov last year.

it has been only 2 months.. LOL~~  guess I have to wait then

i usually pump fuel using my amex on saturday because the posting date always 1 day after.. but for last 2 transaction, delay is 2 days.. not entitle for 5% CB..

set before insert the cc or after the cc approved?

Banks have started giving lower credit limit (I think based on 2x or 3x of your monthly salary).

I travel overseas quite a bit for my previous company and use the credit card for company expenses. The banks (Citibank and HSBC in this case) automatically increased my credit limit without me asking, and the limit was like 6x my salary.

When I applied for OCBC, HLB Wise and Maybank last year, all 3 banks only gave me 3x of my monthly salary (which is lower than my Citibank and HSBC limit when I first applied with them many years ago).

So I guess credit limit increase will only happen when you spend a lot with the card (one good way is offering to use your card when go out makan with friends and have them pay you back in cash) and also a good paymaster.

Perhaps you can show them your latest salary slip as justification for the increase?

I never call maybank line, but often call direct amex line 1800889559, very easy to reach a real person. Just one button to pick platinum or gold, then right away you'll be able to speak to somebody. Although Amex Malaysia is actually handled by Maybank, I kinda wonder why the usual Maybank line is different.

I primarily just use Maybank Amex card anyway, so I never have to actually called usual Maybank line.

if you use the mbb visa/mastercard, remember to pump at caltex. at least you still get 3% with minimum rm50 petrol.

Normally they will allow 3 days buffer, but yours is 4 days. Still possible, especially you got great payment record (pay full and on time previously).

is there any way i can use AMEX to pay for other card bills (such as UOB ONE)? XD

Do the OCBC card retention team call you for any offer to retain your OCBC card?

guys, my dad is holding MBB 2 Gold card.

Is that any way to add this 2 card into my M2U acc so that I can access and help my dad to do all utilities billing?

today i call cs and ask someone to call me because im interested to apply for mbb 2 card. This afternoon someone call me and verify all the details they got from my maybank2u and apply the card for me. No need to fill up any form or submit anything, awesome!!
