Hi all, I've just collected my MB2 Platinum yesterday after applying at the branch last week. Previously I have been using normal MB Visa card for 9 years with 10k CL, but now they have increased my CL to 20k. Looking forward to start collecting more TP using the Amex card. My aim is to collect enough TP to convert to Enrich Miles so that I can experience First or Business class ticket to Europe biggrin.gif

Just got called by Maybank, they say that my application for Maybankard 2 Platinum is approved. BUT, I need to pledge RM8,000 fixed deposit before they can process it further. They say that if my salary is credited to Maybank account (which I still don't have), they might be more lenient of the FD requirement. Quite unfortunate since that may not be possible. sweat.gif
*
just curious is your annual income lesser than the requirement?

thanks for the uber fast reply. guess it's not worth for me to travel that far just to reload TnG unless I'm somewhere nearby during weekends.

Besides that, does anyone know how does EPP works with our MBB AMEX card? Especially with Harvey Norman? Recently, I've purchased with 12 months installments, with 0% interest rate. I was wondering is there any extra charges from the bank or is the bank freezing the total amount that I've purchased until I've completed the whole payment for the installments? rclxub.gif

you get Rm50 rebate on the upcoming statement for this and 100% of the TP will be in your account immediately.

in my case the charge come in on the very last day of statement every month.

Is Smart Tag worth redeeming?  If yes, which is a better option, TreatsPoints or Hot Deals?  Thanks.

Sorry another question.

If I first paid using my AMEX and a few days later when the charge appears on my account and i pay it off straight away with money from my savings account. Is that ok?
*
as long as you pay before the due date, no issue but what's the objective of this?
