is there any way i can use AMEX to pay for other card bills (such as UOB ONE)? XD

Hi all, I own the maybankard2 platinum. i applied it last year when i was drawing SGD$15k per month. then on march I quit my job and began freelancing (registered my own soleprop business) directly to my client in Msia. so every month i will invoice them & they will bank in the money directly into my account.

I would like to apply for Maybank Visa Infinite and the req is RM180k annual income. Since i do not have a payslip anymore, how do I apply for it? And it says require 6 mths bank statement for self employed, which i only have 1 mth for this new bank account.

My question is, how would they treat existing customer who want to sign up for a new credit card? will they just issue the new card based on the old payslip I submitted last yr (S$15 * 12 * 2.5 = RM450k per yr) or they will ask me to update them with my new pay slip?

1. Call CS and ask whether they are OK the application with tax return doc? Like IRA8.
2. Apply thru yr soleprop. But I think is unlikely bcos it just started. Normay soleprop need at least 6 mths bank statement to show bank abt the money transaction.

why don't u apply for mbb2 premier?...u will get VI + AMEX reserve...

okla. i thnk the best way is to call them terus la (kinda lazy esp raining noon).
i dont swipe rm80k per yr on my amex, and i am kedekut to pay the annual fee. 50k still ok la so far on amex got 50k. i swipe mostly on my citibank pm card cos the rates are better than amex and I often travel oversea for projects. just sked suddenly last month of fiscal year i havent spend enough to qualify for waiver.

u can use FD pledge method...

If watami maxed out, then use MBB2 visa/Master lor. At least it has 1x point (=0.4% cashback). Better than keep on using watami and get nothing.

Wondering how you guys pay your digi bill? I tried online in digi OCS using amex but says the payment can't get through. Which digi store will accept amex to pay? Just try to pay at paradigm mall digi but they don't accept

If dine in watami get 2x points, oversea spending get 2x points too.

The point could directly redeem cash back, rate is rm50=12500 points, so is same with maybank visa/master. But yet better coz maybank 0.4%rate is counted by their GST redeem, not like pure cash back redeem on watami

you can try...but they will ask u to provide the latest 6months payslip..
there are one more thing u have to take note... bank usually don't take conversion of exchange rate to determine your income...so if you even sgd15k, they will treat it as rm15k...but I guess 15k per month enough for VI anyway
