Even Malaysian is hard to get a job here, Indonesian can forget it unless he's really talented and there's a company that is willing to sponsor him for a work permit

Most of them prefer malaysian thou. We hire Indons with an impression of cheap labour, but the work permit thing is very costly, if i can get some malaysian do the job save me lots of trouble. If you think about working in company in any IT position, unless he is very good with experience, otherwise he could forget about it. We already have tons of UNEMPLOYED* IT graduates roaming the street. ADD: In my hometown(TAWAU), the service centre of some reputable brand actually hiring indons as technicians last time(5 years ago), they are very regular indons thou. Just teach them how to install windows and can start work. This post has been edited by rexis: Jul 15 2006, 09:17 AM

maybe he/she can try luck in Singapore, there's a slim chance foreign fresh grad can find job in Malaysia due to our government policy. My Indonesian classmates go Singapore find jobs and some of them success as well.
