yeah guys what do you think of Nioxin? I'm thinking of trying the System 1/System 2 Cleanser and Scalp Therapy, but not the Scalp Treatment as that will cost a bomb. The Cleanser and Therapy itself is expensive enough. Also where can I buy Nioxin products?

People also say Nizoral is good for thin hair and hair loss? do you need a prescription for it?

Btw I have thin and fine hair, has always been thin and fine since I was small, but my crown seems to be thinning a bit more lately. Dunno if its hair loss or not. Dad is almost bald at 58 and mom has thin hair too. I'm just trying to make it thicker and add volume so that I can manage and style it.

Also, suggest a good, strong, volumizing hair gel/mousse for me. Is the Nioxin Bodying Foam and Thickening Gel good?

Since my dad is a member of Amway, I can get the following easily... but are they good?
Satinique Volumizing Cleanser
Satinique Volumizing Detangler
Satinique Volumizing Mousse

I dont really know how mousse works... can I style my hair with it?

You bought the entire system? How much did it cost? WHERE DID YOU BUY IT FROM? I'm only thinking of using the cleanser (shampoo) and the scalp therapy (conditioner), the Scalp Treatment stuff is way too expensive.

question... for you guys who are losing hair, when you pinch you hair and pull semi-hard, does your hair fall out? mine usually doesn't so I dont think my hair is falling out. Just that it's thin and fine.

btw what is the best shampoo/conditioner/gel/mousse to add volume and body and thicken the hair? doesnt necessarily need to regrow hair/stop hair falling. I just want my hair to be thicker.

Added on March 8, 2008, 12:29 pmbtw I read that Jason's Thin-to-Thick series is a good shampoo/conditioner, but they dont ship here. Any idea how to get them?

and Paul Mitchell's Extra-Body line of styling products are supposedly very good too. Any idea where to get all these?

meh... tired looking for nizoral at guardian and watson's and neither had it. all they have are a bunch of cheap useless shampoos. so where to buy nizoral?

would you recommend nizoral to someone who has naturally thin, fine hair since birth, with little or no dandruff? because I'm that person, and I'm not sure if I'm actually losing hair. I dont see any hair dropping when I;m bathing tho. and 1% or 2% nizoral?
