i though rogaine is for external use only? By the way, i got the feeling that it is cheapo thing, because of the famous Regaine which got minoxidal (spelling?)

awman.... the propecia is not something new lar... i had heard about it since 2 or 3 years ago. Imagine you have to spend RM320 every month for the rest of your life.

What the pharmacist told me was you use when you got hair loss, use it until an age where everyone of your friends also getting bald, then only you stop eating it. This kind of thinking 

Anyway, the sex drive thing i think it is kind of BS lor.... Remember if your hair drop, it is mostly because of the DHT thingy, and this DHT thingy is the man's hormone and it is like kind of overloaded then only until hair loss. That's why you can see those bald guys got damn a lot of chest hair, the whole facial full of hair. It is because of the T-hormone. So i dont think you should worry much about your sex drive lor. If you really want to be horny, then stop eating it, then you can full blast your "sex" drive back.

just cut it short as there is no way to hide your hair thinning, i seriously telling you. The more you hide it, the more obvious it is.

your hair looks exactly like mine and trust me im balding. get on either proscar or propecia. when you get it that early you can stop it and even have it thicken up a bit. dont even use minox you dont need it. just fin/niz/and maybe another topical to be safe but not minox. im 22 now and my hair looked exactly like yours at 19/20. thats when i started my regimin and now my hair looks better than yours. when you get it as early as yours thats when you can really save your hair.

I think you should use propecia, i don't i am afraid of the sides.

i was buggin out about it when i was your age to. you cant obsess over it. you gotta understand that your in the very early stages. the only people who can tell your goin bald is you and other guys that are balding and know what to look for.

as far as the minox I've never touched it. its ashame that somebody gave you bad advice and told you to get on it. especially seeng as you dont need regrowth. if you maintained your hair just like how it is now for 5-6 years than trust me your doin good.

my regimin is 1.25mg proscar every other day. nizoral 2-3 times per week. and for my topical i switch all the time. ive used revivogen even before i got on proscar and it worked(because i caught it early), ive used zix, super zix
and now im using sprio 5%. i dont even use my topical every day. just whenever i can. probably 4-5 times per week. 1 thing you have to remember is to stay with your regimin. well really just the finasteride but ive been on it for over 2 years and it took me 8-9 months before i even realised that it was working.

you need to just get on your regimen, stop obssessing about it and enjoy your life and before you know it 3 years will go by and youll realize your hair looks better then than it ever did

Look in all honesty minus all the crap people say there really is only 1 not so great mpb treatment. Propecia is really the only thing in existance right now, but keep in mind if you wait for maybe 3 or 4 years other DHT inhibitors that might be potentially safer could come out. Its up to you propecia is about as safe as drugs get.

Side effects from propecia:

First and foremost, sex doesn't feel nearly as good and i don't blow nearly the load I used to. The semen is very watery, and penis does look a bit different.
Secondaries: Stretch marks on my knees and ass, weight gain, bloated face, more wrinkles under my eyes and on forehead.

I dropped finasteride once and all these side effects went away, and came back when i restarted the medication.

I've been off fin for 9 months now. Stretch marks are gone as are the wrinkles, however I still have some dark pathes under my eyes. As for the weight gain and bloated face, I weigh less now than I did before I started fin but I have a meatier build (more fat on stomach, buttocks and chest) now and face is also less toned than before but it has improved, so I guess it is slowly but steady improving.. How about you? Do you have a meatier build now or is everything back to normal?

As for the sex, I didn't notice any erection problem while I was on fin. I had even a higher libido for some odd reason but my sperm was more watery. Btw, if you want to improve the quality and amount of sperm, you should try not having sex or masturbating for 2-3 days while at the same time eating lot of zinc rich food such as meat & egg and you'll shoot like the pornstars. 

One other thing about my hair is that I no longer have that balding/thinning spot on the back of my head any more which I had before fin instead I have diffuse thinning now, mostly in front, side and below ears. I also didn't notice any big shed after quitting fin. How is you hair now and pre-fin?

The propecia is too expensive lar..... about RM300 per month you know? And it cannot stop eating, once stop, it will come back.

The infamous Tsavo lions in eastern Kenya killed more than 130 people during a reign of terror in the 19th century.

One unique characteristic of the lions, which still inhabit Tsavo East National Park, is that the males have no manes.

Scientists have now confirmed for the first time that this is a genetic trait and suspect that high levels of the male hormone testosterone may account both for the lack of manes and the lions' unusual aggression.

Testosterone is known to cause male-pattern baldness in human beings, and heightens aggression and territoriality. It also helps to explain the peculiar social system of the Tsavo lions, which is shared by no other lion population in Africa.

Whereas other lion prides consist of a few females and two to four males, Tsavo lions live in groups of seven or more females ruled by a single, highly dominant male. 

The lions' reputation grew after more than 130 men building a railway bridge across the Tsavo River were killed and eaten by two of them in 1898. The episode was recounted in the 1996 film, The Ghost and the Darkness.

Construction was halted until the lions were hunted and killed. Their bodies were stuffed and are now on display at the Field Museum, Chicago.

Bruce Patterson, a member of the research team, said:''Tsavo lions are thought to be especially aggressive, and high levels of male hormones may simultaneously underlie this aggression, their unique social system, and manelessness.''

A British biochemist is joining Dr Patterson and other scientists in Kenya today to help them to investigate the theory.

Dr Julie Thornton, from the University of Bradford, will examine samples from the lions to measure levels of testosterone. ''I'll be staying safely in the laboratory'' she said.

Earlier research was published online last week by the Canadian Journal of Zoology.
