must do now biggrin.gif thanks.

anyway still need to make the cylinder key hole not trigger boot open, because honda SA told me cannot repair, if want to repair, need to change the key as well, one pair of remote key is like RM1500++
*
Your SA know nothing.

Changed mine cylinder key hole by paired back to original key, only cost few hundreds. (Rm300+-, cant remember exact figure)
No need to waste money to remake remote key.
Or use new key for cheaper price. But need to carry one more key.
Done mine with the first method. At Millenium auto.

But kena again....

Since the car is not keyless, and the *asshole* keep attracting theif to cucuk, best way is to completely shield the hole, and cover with number plate that without key hole. Then only open boot from driver's side panel.

i just open up and i do it myself at RM0 cost biggrin.gif

there is a metal hook connected to the key hole (strong plastic), i disconnect both of them, making any key cucuk in cannot trigger the metal hook, it will not open the boot since the metal hook is disconnected

note: i sacrifice the plastic holder holding the metal hook and key hole (plastic holder, this plastic holder place the key hold metal cylinder)

laugh.gif now my boot can still see the key hole but any key put in will not open the boot

p/s: there is another cable connected to the lock (you can still use the opener beside driver seat to open the boot)

i disconnected the connector wire as well (previously people share when disconnect, the car alarm will sounds if did not unlock and use key to open boot)

so now is safer...

strongly recommend this model city car owner do something like this smile.gif as many victims kena thief open already
*
But the thief don't know you had disconnected the key cylinder, so still got chance that thief will try to force open. Just my pessimistic thinking.

Recommendation from busta_dude is the best.

Picture for illustration, not my car.

Bro..  Where is Millenium Auto shop?
*
Next to LDP. Opposite ikea Damansara.
Open google map, key in "the millennium auto", that location will pop out. Near there.
Or go to honda Malaysia website, find the dealer/service centre, also provided using google map.

My tires clocking 50k km after 3.5 yrs, I think still have 50% thread, I did alignment/balancing/tires rotate every 6 months, so no botak tepi, also no crack. Using continental premium contact 2, 185/55 R16. Good grip on dry and wet surface, but a bit noisy at highway cruising.
Since tires is aging, plan to change it.
Anyone using goodyear excellence ? Is it good compare to continental ?

Thanks all for the reply.
My car is at 175km mileage (9 years) and have not change absorber since Day1.
Need to change the abosrber however changing to Showa absorber + all the bushings + mountings + lanour will cost up to RM1.8k for all 4 absorbers which is hurting my wallet.

Right now, doing survey on the absorber brand/price vs comfort.

i asked one of the honda service centre, and they quote me for RM16K, yes RM16k.

coming to close to 10years of owning this car, (Aug 2013).
so far:

- mileage about 158k. daily driver and family car for trips
- no major issues, mainly wear and tear parts as expected (absorbers, mounting , bush)
- a/c no issues except re gas one time, strangely after that didn't had any issues
- had rear ended accident a few years ago, had after bout 1 year realized spare tyre area had water seepage
determined that it was caused either by wear & tear of boot rubber, or the repair job reused it and sealing wasn't good anymore
(seems to be a common problem for TMO/GM2, so have your boot rubber inspected and change when necessary
- my driver side lock actuator was jammed, changed it half cut for rm150 part only
- as always, there are still sounds (kruuikkk, nyett nyett). i have not totally done a total change or inspection on absorber links; lower arm etc
- no leakage on any gasket area on engine yet..
- i have been faithfully using morrison EO for couple of years , at least 5years..didnt had any problemo
- engine still relative silent. at times i'm amazed what the japs had engineered

plan to use till it ages, or starts giving me major problems

Mine January 2013
Mileage around 120K KM.
Also no major issue, except changed alternator during warranty period.
now do maintenance every 5-6months.
Used to service aircond every 2yrs in the past. Now only refill gas, did it few days ago.
Talked to foreman, the cost of cooling coil around 600-700, compressor near 800-1000. He owned City 5G too and he said normally cooling coil will be the problem if related to aircond of this car.

My concern now is the FC, the car only can do around 8-9km/L, is that normal? 40HW 60city with very light foot, normally im driving alone.
Service it (engine oil, oil filter) and also changed new spark plug also same.
I know it is 10yrs old car
