Need opinion on changing tyre size (just the width and profile). Stock is 185/55/16. Which size is better?
1. 195/55/16
2. 195/50/16
3. 205/50/16

All are under acceptable range (+-3%)
Need to change tyre soon. Thanks in advance.
*
To me 205/50/16 is the best!

Hi, are u using the fully synth oil 0 - 20 W recommended by SC.

Well, I using also, but dont seems to give me better FC.  RM60 gives me 350 km only cry.gif
*
I tried the most expensive SL 5W40 (Fully-Synthetic) and so-called fuel saving SM 0W-20(Fully-Synthetic) engine oil.

For 5W40, the performance is good, but suck petrol like drinking water.
For 0W-20, the FC is improved, but very poor pick-up

Now I'm happly using SM 5W30 (Semi-Synthetic) with acceptable performance and FC, with the combination of Caltex RON 95

Question for City (2009-2013YM)
======================
What if we lock the car using alarm, and then open the car using key?

Would the alarm trigger?
If yes, how to disable the alarm?

Thanks.

yes it will, it will trigger the alarm if u lock the car with your remote and unlock it using your key
do you mean how to disable the alarm if it triggered?
as in the manual,it only can be disable through your remote
and i have done a test before, lock the car with remote and unlock it with key
the alarm triggered and i try to start the car though that it will disable the alarm
but unfortunately even the car started the alarm still shouting there sad.gif

Mind to share how you solved the issue?

Hello,

My 2013 City's spare key with alarm is not working. The "battery" seems flat, even I never use it when I get it, about a year ago.

Anyone know how to fix it?
How to replace the battery?

Thanks.

You guys pump r95 or r97? I just found out honda minimum is r91 except for type-R
*
I owned a City since Aug 2013, and tried number of RON95 fuels, and found that RON95 from CALTEX give best performance (pickup) among others.

Lately I changed to RON97 from CALTEX as well, and I felt (NOT placebo) my City has better performance, "smoother" while pickup with no/less knocking. I may stick to RON97 if the price difference less than RM0.25/liter.

So, any "heavy foot" RON97 user here?
Which RON97 fuels give better performance to your City?

Thanks.

Hi Guys , i try petronas RON 97 but seem no different  !!!! how about your city ? Please share share here and merry x-mas to all of u . Thanks
*
I used Caltex RON95 for 1yr+, since it's more powerful than other RON95 (tried Shell, BHP, Petron & Petronas), and lately changed to Caltex RON97.

To me, Caltex RON97 is more powerful than Shell VPower97.

So far has not try Petronas RON97 on my City yet.

I ended up replaced all 4 CPC2 to BS Turanza ER300 @ RM210/pc.

The 3 CPC2 with about 60% tread-wear treat in with RM40 each.

ER300 apparently quieter and softer than CPC2 :-)

I tried on low grade fully syn oil engine as recommended by SC, but feel no FC saving and the car lack of pick up.

After using semi syn , then the pick up has certainly improved significantly.

Anyone has different experience in using low grade full syn oil, please do share out.
*
I have the same experience as yours.

Afterward, happy with "semi" with balance FC and pick-up biggrin.gif

This is a low grade fully syn oil and does not save fuel based on my experience  using it and somemore, lack of pick up in car performance.
