Hi all sifus, I'm driving a year 2012 HC. Has anyone of you experience noise from the dashboard when the car is moving on uneven road? It's coming from the passenger's air bag side. The noise will be gone when I press on the dashboard. Is this something can be fixed? Please advise.

what kind of sound? is it like a metal-to-metal sound at passenger side airbag? i have it too, but solved it at honda sc in melaka.. they dismantle the dashboard and put some sponge in between the nut..

or if your are talking bout 'duk duk duk' sound, it come from the back seat 60:40 clipper.. wrap the metal with thick tissue then put back ur seat..

so which one punya sound?  biggrin.gif

It's more to plastic vibration sound instead of metal. Like something has loosen inside the dashboard. When I place my hand and give some pressure on it, the sound is gone. How exactly you told SC on this problem, and do they test drive and confirm that the sound does exist before they work on it?

About the 'duk duk' sound you are talking about on the back seat, which metal you are referring to? My car seem to have that annoying sound as well, but not all the time... Thanks in advance for ur advise

i bring my car over and said there is annoying sound from the dashboard.. they test drive with me in car and i point the sound to him.. luckily the sound is replicable..

for the 'duk duk' sound, metal i mentioned is as pic below.. the one in black, near to the seat belt, which hold the seat.. (ah hard to explain..  biggrin.gif )

Thanks bro. I think I know which one you are referring to. The black color metal that holds the seat. I'll try wrap tissues around it and see if it fixes the annoying sound. As for the dashboard, yea...lucky u that the sound appeared when u test drive with the technician. I just afraid the sound doesn't come when I bring my car to SC. Not sure if I can find uneven road around SC area to replicate that sound too. doh.gif
