QUOTE(kider @ Sep 14 2015, 11:57 AM)
Time to change my brake pad already after 3yrs of usage. Never changed before mileage at 68,000km. Honda SC pomen told me already 3mm. Highly recommended to change. Luckily I asked them to check when I service last weekend.

Quoted by Honda SC about 467rm for just front. So I surveyed outside shop PH Auto quoted
ORI Front : 300
ORI Rear : 240
OEM Front : 130
OEM Rear : 100

Also surveyed Hingan, bit more expensive that price mentioned above. So I'm going to PH auto this Wed.

But now still contemplating which one to choose. Understood that ORI one will have the grease and metal shim. hmm but a bit pricey.

Anyone here have used OEM? Any feedback? Gotten few feedback that other brand i.e. brembo/fedoro/bendix not recommended. So Im keen to buy Nissin. Just that between both ORI and OEM which to choose considering all factors.

Suggest you to replace:-

serpentine belt (replace for precautionary measure as cars timing belt normally needs replacement at around 80k);

iridium spark plugs (City plugs needs to be replaced at 100k interval):

Fuel filter (if your last replacement is back at 40k. I recommend to replace at 60k interval instead of 40k);

when was the last time you replaced your:

ATF DW1 fluid?
*
fuel filter is d fuel strainer?
i am think to change also...
as mine already near to 75k km of usage already...
from 80k km by SC,now almost 135k km...
btw,d fuel strainer included d pump also rite?
coz i see is quite big...

Yes. they are the same. The fuel pump is not included. They will swap your existing fuel pump to the new strainer.

will it cause d car to feel underpower?
coz recently like after 60k++ km,i feel like my car is not that powerful compare to last time...

QUOTE(cempedaklife @ Jun 13 2018, 03:07 PM)
bought the fuel filter from a stockist store near my area setapak, previously asked a well known honda stockist, hingan qouted rm190.
i bought for rm185 (not due to price but more due to convenience).

asked the stockist if its an easy job, he said it's quite troublesome, asked him if he know any reliable workshop, he recommended one workshop, who quoted rm120 for the labor.
sound about right?

just dont feel like going to my neighborhood workshop for this kind of work.
*
Rm300++ for d fuel strainer is quite expansive...
i think SC charge about Rm350 with labour...
what d market price to change d fuel strainer?
as i heard is about Rm200 with labour...

I only change once at SC during the 40k service. Now my car is clocking in at 100k.. Will swap the fuel strainer together with the serpentine belt. Plan to let AR Automan do it as they specialize in Honda though the pricing is comparable to SC.
*
AR is d arman workshop specialized in honda car rite?
ani idea how much do they charge?
i might plan to once of most service in honda service center although i already service outside...
my foreman tell me d fuel strainer is not easy to change...
easily got fuel leakage for non-expert foreman to replace...
