Sending my car for service.. 120k. Their labour charge is enough to do another service outside. Even worst when we have to send every 5k.

Any good workshop near Serdang/Bangi/Nilai that I can send my car to? Mostly is around Klang Valley, that's a bit too far from my place already.

They asked for the VIN on Honda site, that's the chassis number yes?

Yea 2012 model. 5 years @ unlimited mileage. If it wasn't for the warranty I'll send it outside years ago. Haha.

Free labour only for minor service (oil and oil filter change only) for the first 6 times or so. Can't remember how many times but any major service will NOT have free labour.

Any idea what exactly happen during the aircond 'service'? They clean the unit and add more gas?

Crap, mine affected as well. Wasn't there before.

Why? did you hear knocking noise? Sometimes I heard knocking noise when I ran over a rough patch of road. Not sure if its my imagination or what, coz seems to happen randomly.

Hmm.. interesting. Maybe ask Honda service center to check on your next service to confirm then do outside.

Got my airbags replaced yesterday. Took 1.5 hours. Feel a bit safe now (maybe just physiological. haha)

Any idea of a good bodywork shop to fix up some dents and some rust hole? Also I'll need to polish & wax my car.. been 5 years.

Just regular maintenance for me so far every 5k (apart from wear/tear stuff, tires, main headlight, wiper)

My car is now around 4 years and 150k millage+

Hope it can last for 250k without any major repairs.. haha.

p/s - I drive like an aunty, hopefully that helps with the longevity.

Same here, cold start perfect every time. Stop at petrol pump and try to start car got 50% 50% chance it will fail to start.

Claim with Honda? Every-time I told them the problem they just clean the battery terminal since they say cannot replicate. Its very hard for me to replicate as well since its very random.

1. Got BT for music and phone call (only problem is I've got no idea who called since I can't seems to sync up the phone book, probably my phone retarded)
2. Decent microphone (can put wherever you want - I put mine near the sunshade). So far no problem for the caller to hear me.
3. You need to factor in the price of the HU cover as well, should cost around RM150 - RM250 depends on quality and shop. The shop I go don't have tha latest version for City 2012, so have to use older model. So the color looks a bit lighter compared to the original.
3. The HU itself is around RM500 when i purchase mine. I top-up a bit and get the reverse camera too and the steering adapter for the remote. Overall I think I paid around RM850+ for all including the HU cover. Can't remember exactly how much.

Been using the player for half a year now, so far so good. Got all that I need, and none of the crap. Very sleek and simple too (no stupid color blinking light everywhere). The interface is quite responsive as well, no lag at all except when changing the player mode (BT, Tuner, USB etc) got 1 sec delay.

They did not do a good job when installing the unit, but not very noticeable from the the driver seat. I don't really care. Haha.



Hope this help, I'm sure they're tons of other brand/model out there but this one seems to be the most value for money that suit my needs.

Haven't yet. Just the driver airbag got replaced. I forgot my VIN. Haha. Have to check back at home. Aih.

My warranty just ended after 5 years, manage to claim warranty for the starter motor just before the warranty period finish. Haha.
