It's weird.. As far as I know, normally aircond parts usually doesn't come with warranty unless it is being installed in certified repair workshops like DENSO aircond specialist.

This is because at times, it is not the new parts that are faulty but bad installation made it go faulty within the warranty period (e.g. over fill the refrigerant and oil which may cause over pressure in the system thus gas leakages).

Since you've opted for Showa cooling coil, I guess the price is around there taking into consideration you had replaced the blower fan and receiver dryer.

May I know how much the receiver dryer cost? I just replaced my few months back and was told the TMO's receiver drier is more expensive than others. Like RM30 vs RM90 for TMO.

The function of the receiver dryer is basically absorb moisture in the aircond system. Since my is already 11 years old, I had replaced it.

so my car has been creaking on off when going on bump, and lately a bit more serious when taking corner as well (it never really creak when corner before, but the sound not so serious la).

i have changed my engine mounts on April so i don't think it was the issue, then i narrow down in my mind, the absorbers, which i changed aftermarket (shokz by apm) about 3-4 years ago.

i have left over of AT205 (search in this forum what this is about), which is a liquid to rejuvenate rubber and and sprayed on the absorber, as you can see it was wet a bit. and it helps.

but i just noticed something. when i turn steering to left, the left absorber mount has gap, when i turn steering to right, the right absorber mount has gap, is this normal?

i have also asked from the babysitter uncle that used to own a spare parts shop.
he also said its not normal. it could be installation, it could be absorber mounting underneath broke. or he said there is a bearing as part of the assembly, which may have defect.

sigh..guess i have to head to AR Man auto this evening.
considering i have to go interstate to in laws house tomorrow after so long. 

just for the record, when i replace it, i only use after market shocks.
all others like mounting, bush, i uses ori bought from honda authorized shop.

Wah. Vmag really cheaper ah? won't potong right? coz i'm familiar with AR Man.

its 10km more but only 5 mins further from google map. its doable, just that I'm not familiar. but if both you guys really suggest VMag over AR Man auto, I will give it a try? Confirm you both prefer Vmag?

Just now left one hour drive , sun coming out.
Turn on blower to 3. The aircon Macam feel tersumbat. Not much air blow out and sound weird than usually. But after arrive start the car two times. Both times back to normal.

Blower motor problem now?

Nope. I change it myself a couple of months back. And VMag helped me check again yesterday lol.

Just not sure if due to wash engine bay, got some water stuck in there. After blown it away, now ok. Possible or not lol.

Actually I am not so concern about the longevity of the engine. Honda's engine can easily last a very long time if it is well taken care (don't push hard and regular oil change and spark plugs).

The weakest link to me is the gearbox. Although the gearbox is considered durable by today's standard, the clutch packs will eventually wears out. Once it wears out, you will need to dismantle the gearbox to replace the clutch pack.

accord wear and tear really fast. I dont know, maybe expensive car more unreliable it is?. I still use original engine mounting at 260k km. while accord 2 times change already. topkek. power steering 2 times already.

I got twice like too. The gearbox like dont want to change gear. Changed atf and seems fine. That was quite some yearay ago.

This guy symptoms same like mine but i got no burn smell and since then on the back from johor, this morning drive to pasar and couple of times start engine in johor also seems fine.

Will continue monitor

The coolant condition I would say still looks good. 2 years is too soon to perform a flushing. I'd normally do it every 4-5 years. The life if the type2 coolant is actually quite long. Easily can last 50,000km.

The originally prefilled coolant.. Honda recommended to replace at 100,000km or 10 years right?
