hi guys

im trying to use my old dual core android for Kodi latest.

HiMedia Q3-II Dual Core 3D Network Media Player TV Box
http://www.amazon.co.uk/HiMedia-Q3-II-Netw...r/dp/B00HTYIE3A

So far for SD, it's been ok, depending on source of streaming - for could never get to work with HD. Always fail to load or something...

Do you think it's mainly because of the hardware, or i can try to adjust settings anywhere to improve playback?

thx

Hi guys

Just a quick check...

I'm running Kodi android for Himedia Q3II.

After some tweakings, managed to get Genesis to run HD properly with minimum buffering...

currently installed a lot of other moves add-ons as well...

so want to know, would it improve my streaming and viewing if i remove those add-ons and only stick to a few sources?

and any other quick tips to hv optimal viewing / streaming and reduce buffering?

thx

just wondering - if i'm using pc win7 for kodi streaming via wifi, will this tweak to improve performance for streaming?

Under usb network adapter settings -

1. Under advance - Adhoc support 802n - Set to Enable (default was disable)

2. Under advance - multimedia/gaming - Set to Enable (default was disable)

will be trying this soon - but do you guys think this would help to improve?

will update once i've tested this first myself....but just afraid if it feels better, it is just a placebo effects only...hehe

simplest way for Kodi is to download TVMC (for android / windows / apple) ... thne just follow the step by step guide and your're off

not very tweakable like Kodi but good for newbies to play around coz it's simplified Kodi
