Have you tried with PC Windows Internet Explorer ? Which version of Explorer does it work with?

I tried out on my old Internet  Explorer (the original one that came with Windows 7-without update).  Although it works, I think there is some problem with the version of I.Explorer. Although it works, whenever there is buffering, the video often stops and refuse to start again.

I tried opening one of the channels link with ID in VLC, the first time it plays, but subsequently I can't seem to open the stream again. Maybe the 'Force Media player' which was installed with  ITV , did something to VLC player, not sure.

However I installed ITV on Windows 8 Internet Explorer and so far so good, watching ASSP4 and Astro Arena now , Lee Chong Wei Live. But Video quality not too good.

I did not install VLC on windows 8, so can't test it. Sorry.

Sorry no idea. I only follow the tutorial to find the id and then load the stream in in VLC. But after running for just once in VLC, the stream doesn't work anymore.

e.g One of the ID for ssport (can't remember 3 or 4) is as follows 'http://go.layarku.tv/id/55ca1f40000be9851f32394f32ca0f68'. Maybe you can try opening it in your VLC. Mine is quite old version, so can't say if problem is due to VLC player.
